The concept is good. The implementation was terrible. There's nothing wrong with spinning up a new department with new staff and leadership and giving it the same mandate. "Here, those idiots fucked it up. You guys try now."
FEMA should have a mandate to return a specified portion of its funding to disaster victims, and if there aren’t enough disaster victims in a fiscal year to do this, that spending be used to invest in consumables, resources and infrastructure.

Other bloated and incompetent departments like CDC and NIAID can be folded into it to create a super-department designed to handle any disaster regardless of source and nature.

Imagine how much more effective the COVID response would have been if there’d been stockpiles of PPE and infection control equipment and a coordinated, apolitical, effective border control response.

He wants to keep the money and give it directly to states so they can organize their own response like Florida has been doing.
Hm. Seems like cope...... What about the man power they provide though? And why the cuts to the NOAA?

FEMA, if done correctly, would be worth keeping. But FEMA has been run very poorly, is bound in huge amounts of red tape that mess up the state's parallel response because the federal government is constitutionally supreme, and has suffered from internal political rot to some degree. If it only makes things worse or doesn't augment the state response in comparison to just giving the resources to the state to use, then it's not worth having.

The country lasted a long time before anything like FEMA existed. It may not be the best solution to put everything under FEMA rather than array the federal and state governments' resources differently.
Remains to be seen how effective that is i guess.

What to know about Fourth of July anti-Trump protest

"Free America" protest events planned for July 4

Anti-Trump organizers are hosting "Free America" rallies on Independence Day in the next round of mass protest across the country.
The big picture: This renewed batch of protests against the administration comes amid growing discontent with Trump's policies.
  • "Your freedom. Your people. Your rebellion," the Women's March website said.

I forgot this was even a thing, Any of you see these protests?

What even would be Elon's policies? How would he handle foreign affairs, policing, schooling, healthcare, infrastructure, food production, industry, taxes, welfare and national security?

All this autism over EV tax credits getting jacked because electric vehicles can't compete with gasoline.

Whatever man, have a good night.
Only getting better now you’ve taken the L and fucked off.

I just want to say, I love how the thread regulars end up gangbanging these thread tourist retards. It's a joy to watch some dude come in and get stomped out for almost 24 hours at this point.
A hugbox for some and a hurt locker for others, it does feel nice to have at least one place on the internet where non-libtards get to demonstrate exactly why online leftism can’t survive without censorship.

It's funny watching the freakouts over the America Party. I think they know the GOP will do as they always do and funnel all the funds in safe RINO races and ignore the races Musk will pile money into. Probably would have been cheaper just to give Musk his NASA pick and force congress to get thru some token DOGE cuts. That was just too much for them.

What even would be Elon's policies?
He doesn't have any outside of the EV sperging. This whole thing is the equivalent of a nerd getting kicked out of a club and saying "well I'm just gonna make my OWN group of friends!" and being a whiny baby about it. This isn't even meant to be a joke, I think it's actually the same train of thought because he's just that autistic.

Great, so what the fuck is your problem?
Reading your pointless drivel, for one. Why "passive shareholders" in quotation marks? Why are passive shareholders a problem, but active shareholders not? What do you mean by "at the top"? The top of the company? The top of society? The top of your pointed little head? Why shouldn't shareholders - of any sort - receive dividends if the company is profitable? Where do you think the money to pay dividends comes from? Why do you think expenses/operational costs bear no relation on how much (if any) in dividends is paid? Mind you, I could go on, and I'm focusing on only one fragment of your retard diatribe.

I don't get how this EV talking point got started. He has been against them for years. Know why? Because he can undercut all other EVs without them. It's the legacy brands like Ford and GM that can't can't compete without them. His big thing is solar because he seems to think it's free and less hassle than nuclear. I'd rather have nuclear but Trump isn't pushing it and instead says coal is the way for some reason.

Infinity H1Bs, so that America can "win"

With the news about the palestine spergs inerrupting the pride parade in london, as well as many events of the last year, i decided it was time to draft this up. I think people will be needing it soon, let me know if i missed anything.

Elon’s platform:
  • Infinite H1Bs to maximize efficiency (according to him)
  • Birth rate sperging
  • EV vehicle mandates
  • Increased use of AI for efficiency (when it’s actually to save money and cut corners)
  • Increased government funding for SpaceX
  • Foreign policy based entirely on what would increase Elon’s profits, and will change on a whim
  • Legalize ketamine
  • Government subsidized hair transplants for men

Do you think he knows that IRL isn't X and he doesn't have infinite Indians to vote for him blindly?
