He did, but he's an epidemiologist with a PhD and not an actual MD like Boogie tries to tout him as. He can't diagnose Boogie with shit so instead he glazes him and backs him up on anything he says.

I'm sure at one point he was trying to be a successful author with a shitty book that centered around childhood incest, so of course he's happy to spin tales with Steven about how they both were victims of a horrible childhood and use Steven's fake cancer as a stepping stone for his work. General consensus seems to be he's a grifter just like his brother, or they both acted on certain things growing up, use their dead parents as blame and now have each others backs.

It cannot be said enough how fucked he is once the show ends. All Boogie has to do is make a creepy comment to Brantley and it's all over. Here's hoping Boogie is the one who gets black out drunk at Keemstar's 4th of July bash this year.

I absolutely refuse to think of their father as a bad guy. The man literally worked himself to death in a horrific profession just to put a roof over his children’s heads and put enough food on the table that they were all fat to some extent.

I know some fathers do horrible jobs and still abuse their kids but boogie spoke positively of his dad until he needed attention and his brother and sister seem to have positive feelings toward the man. I’m willing to say Mr. Williams was a good man that took care of his kids.

Edit: took care of them until his unfortunate stroke, I mean. I’m sure mentally that hurt him to be possibly a burden on his ungrateful kids.

Sometimes it looked like his father was the diddler, other times the brother, or his sister, or his mom and one time I think they were implying that his coal miner hero dad made boogie/ his sister abuse eachother.

I mean yeah it absolutely doesn't matter as it is all bullshit, but I find it entertaining to see how much they struggle to keep the story straight.

By the way they are talking about it, it sounds like the whole family were running a train on boogie, but somehow he still switches from being glad they are dead and wishing he could've spitted on their graves to crying and threatening people when it come to defending his parent's good name.
