There's no way Destiny blocked Pisco because "[he's] a communist." My guess is that Destiny blocked Pisco over the incredibly mild criticism Pisco had for Destiny while talking to Potentially Criminal, in addition to the fact that Destiny is so narcissistic that he genuinely believes that his "ex-orbiters" could only profess beliefs that are contrary to his own because of some sort of personal grudge they must have against him (which is obviously self-involved to a hilarious degree, in addition to being sort of a self-report as to how Destiny arrives at his own beliefs). He likely feels that Pisco owes his entire internet career to Destiny (which might even be true), felt betrayed by the fact that Pisco didn't stand by him through the ongoing lawsuit, and feels doubly slighted when Pisco puts any blame on him for sabotaging their political projects, rather than pointing the blame to all of these "unhinged, insane" women that are out to get him.

And this is just a total aside, but I also think that's why Erudite has refused to condemn his behavior in any strong terms since this whole thing has started. She says she wants to remain friends with him, but there's actually nothing inherently inconsistent about strongly condemning somebody's behavior and also remaining friends with them (i.e., see Dan Saltman). But I think Erudite deep down knows that if she were to condemn Destiny's behavior in anything but the most mildest of terms, he would yeet her out of his life completely because he doesn't actually care about her that much.

I enjoyed the recent Erudite clip where a chatter asks if she’s still friends with Destiny. She responds by saying she’s checked in with Destiny repeatedly to ask if they’re “still cool,” to which he tells her “yup.”

It’s very funny in the context of him repeatedly claiming he’s dropped every single one of his friends and doesn’t speak to anyone from that part of his life anymore. He kept Anything Else but couldn’t wait to drop Bridges like a hot potato because he couldn’t stand the woman. But Erudite insists on continuing to cling like a hardened dingleberry. I would say he's too conflict-avoidant to end the friendship directly, but he killed their podcast and unfollowed her from all of his social media, which is pretty direct. I can't imagine she makes much money with whatever she is currently doing; she likely would have made more money if she continued pursuing her psychology education/career in Canada.
