There was a time when this kind of idea sounded cruel and authoritarian. But after watching not one but two major cities I've lived in become wastelands of homeless shit and piss puddles, with people holding signs on every fucking street corner for miles while doing the fent lean, destroying and polluting everything and everywhere they gather, I am to the point where I am ready to declare it's time for a US Homeless drug addict crazy containment zone.

I'm sorry. If you're alive in [Current Year] and don't know the risks of taking Opioids, prescription or not, then that IS Darwin in action. This argument may have had some teeth 20 years ago, but not now. Everyone knows Opiods are addictive just like everyone knows smoking and alcohol is and we're given choices in life because we don't live in a fucking dictatorship. If a doctor takes you off of them, ITS FOR A FUCKING REASON. Before you ask, yes. I've been an addict at one point in my life. It's hell. But I KNEW what I was taking and the risks and chose poorly. I also CHOSE to get straight and put the work in, even when it was miserable.
