that nigger did not read Storm of Steel btw. I've read like 60% of it. It is a very, very, very dry historical recount of WW1 that basically repeats this for hundreds of pages:
"I went to this French city. There, artillery hit. I saw a junge blown to bits with splinters. I was in the mud holding my helmet for 6 hours while the shells landed around us. After the shelling, I poked my head up and saw an Englishman. I traded him a beer for a pack of cigarettes across the barbed wire. The next day we were redeployed to A-la-pan-de-le-souffle. The shelling there was even more intense. On the first day, an entire brigade of junge was shredded by splinters."
Literally just endless recounts of seeing heads explode and people get ripped into pieces by artillery.
