Not every drawing or or visual asset needs to be "art". Sometimes, maybe even most of the time, it's literally a visual aid or present because something is expected to be there.

This I agree with. I do in fact use AI assets regularly with business presentations and it works fine for less entertainment focused business.
For the entertainment side it lacks, quite a bit.
A lot of the kind that most people have access to just looks inherently bad or can't pass unless you scale it down.

I'm talking specifically about recreating the same anime girl over and over again or making something like an emote.
It can make a picture of a landscape just fine. AI backgrounds for vtubers are alright looking often.

I don't inherently hate AI art or, "image/animation gens" it just underwhelms me often.
It's more difficult to have something draw the same anime girl consistently but animated live footage is easier to fake. I get why it's just a massive bummer.

To sum it up, I want AI art to get better, chomping at the bit when I don't have to deal with illustrators or animators anymore but I sadly don't see it coming in my lifetime.

shes funny, and is the total gremlin archetype. She's basically Fillian, except funnier. Talks non stop to keep everyone entertained, even if it makes no sense.

The only recent hate I've seen has been on people saying she thinks she might be asexual, and I totally understand it. Twitter freaks are going to latch on to it, as "she's one of us, so based and valid" and people who hate that don't want it, and the freaks corrupting the Hololive brand with western stupidity.

I think she is just leaning into the yuri bit as a joke, because it's funny and it get a reaction, but had to clarify she is not actually a sex pest, who wants to fuck everyone, because it's just a joke after all.
