A military parade is about showing off the cool shit, ALL OUR COOL SHIT. This whole thread has been people fangirling over equipment being shown off.

More criticizing the government, not the people who got kidnapped by that same government to be used as a bullet sponge to try and win an unwinnable conflict (Vietnam).
Some people would say that's the best outcome we could've hoped for. Just a peaceful day in the US while sandniggers murder eachother.
They decentralized too much, because they didn't want too many angry people in one spot to cause trouble. So we got nothing instead.

In all honestly, I'd like to see more US Military parades. This one's brought out some positive energy in my opinion.
That's not a place for the parade. The parade SHOULD honor every conflict. I agree that every conflict the US has been involved with barring Mexico and maybe the banana/Spanish wars were totally unnecessary.

They wouldn't have even bothered with the parade. They'd have forced every member of the armed services to take a knee in remembrance of George Floyd and have the (white) male service members rend their uniforms like a beggar's sackcloth while screaming "I CAINT BREEF!"
I genuinely did not expect these people to be the primary demographic of the protests. At least a rally full of old white people has little chance of becoming violent.
