We saw the worst of this when trolls would create fake Tinder profiles of attractive men and asked women if they were into the worst shit possible and they’d agree. Not just reluctantly but eagerly. The criticism of course was that these were too mean, not that women were down for some depraved shit if he had a six pack.

But you don't even need a six pack or money or anything you'd think you would is the crazy part. They actually have no standards whatsoever and can get that way about anyone who has the right attitude.

"That way" being Hybristophilia. In the troll profiles they literally admitted to being convicted pedophiles or child murderers. Either women either excuse anything because it's done by someone attractive or they are attracted to psycho shit no matter who does it. So which is it?

Both but also neither. Hybristophilia is only one manifestation of it. Well over half the time they feel they're onto something in general they're really just chasing an illusion. When someone's perception is that clouded by emotion they see what they want to see and hear what they want to hear so they play themselves when presented with an amorphous enough canvas to project their delusions onto.

Basically, you have to learn to not care about impressing them or trying too hard because that's actually a losing proposition as it makes you reek of desperation. Half the things they say even when they sound serious or calm are emotional outbursts and/or attempts at self-assurance because they're all insecure and neurotic by nature so when you listen you'll get a feel for when to go along with whatever they're saying and when to push back. This isn't some complicated or esoteric mind game shit either, it's actually very obvious and intuitive stuff anyone can figure out on their own sooner or later, you just have to maintain an appropriate level of distance from your own emotions as a man, especially when they try to argue with you, talk you into something, or bitch at you.

The thing is, those "ugly" men probably have something else going on for them besides their facial or body looks, like height, status, money, or dick size. Genuinely ugly short autistic losers with nothing to offer are not picked by women. Women are always looking to "improve" the genes of the next generation even if it means reproducing with a misogyinistic woman beater but he gets a pass because he is hot and tall (good genes). If you don't have the genes, then the only thing you can offer a woman is status and money. Confidence only works when you have something to be confident of, it's not going to make you taller or less autistic or hotter. Nature is pretty shallow.
