It's pretty unimportant but I think he was more saying he didn't realize how edgy it was when he was making the Elon tweet, and it explains why people in his community were upset over the tweet. He got some backlash about it. Either way, ultimately, it does lead back to him not understanding how edgy pixelpixel was being (though that makes me wonder, what did Steven think the chatter meant? What did he get a 6 month ban for?)
