It would all be stolen.

Since the Chandlers are so disorganized, they would just keep all the money out in the hoard, in all those cartoon ($) sacks that Chris thinks they'd come in, and leave it all out as some sort of trophy against the trolls.

Of course, if anyone is keeping that much money inside their house, its very susceptible to being broken into and stolen.

I know we all discourage trolling and trespassing at 14BLC or wherever, but the standard cat burglar wouldn't give two fucks.

If I won the lottery, I would buy a good car, a nice little house, fill my house with some fancy electronics and vidya, and that's about it. I'd probably put the rest of the money aside for my kids' college or something.

I don't get how these people just blow through millions like it's nothing. I don't get how they can be so short-sighted.

Give Chris Bill Gate's bank account.
See what happens

Perhaps the most incredible revelation of these images is the fact that the BMW is functional. Sure it may have just been towed from one house to the other, but even that is more than I would have thought it capable of.

Bob always seemed to buy second hand cars and run them until they are done. Being thrifty like that probably allowed him to snatch up some older but nicer cars from time to time.

That's a fairly smart thing to do as they depreciate from new so quickly, as long as you can keep them running. I would suspect that in happier times bob liked working on the cars. I've seen pictures of the family with a BMW, a jaguar and a Cadillac, all clearly we'll past their new days. They also had their share of entry level cars like son chu and the ad wrapped civic.

With Bob gone I am sure those days are done. And while yes it's a BMW and it's a nice car, I believe it was also BMWs cheapest model in the late 90s. I remember a few friends right out of school buying those with their money from the first dot com craze. They were always broken too. That's why the fact that it potentially drove a mile under its own power shocks me more than its existence.

But if anyone doubted it was the new chandler house for a second, there's only one family in the world with a BMW and those metal chairs.

Well, the majority of the people who play the lottery come from lower income brackets, so it's not too much of a stretch to think that a lot of them might not have much experience with or be any good at financial planning. I don't think too many of them blow through it like it's nothing, but high property & income taxes and such are easy things to forget about when you're on a spending spree.

Not giving people the option to take the lump sum payment would probably reduce the number who end up blowing it all, but that wouldn't be fair to any older folks who aren't likely to have enough years left to make the individual payments attractive. Maybe replacing it with a five-year option or something like that would be better.

Chris would buy all of Gamestop and McDonalds, Barb would buy all of Goodwill

I'm honestly surprised the BMW even exists, period. Those are high-end cars.

the ultimate leasing machine depreciates quickly

I still find it very amusing that some users thought Chris might actually try to save his Sonichu drawings when there's video games and Lego at stake
Well, he'd want to save it all. He'd insist that the firemen and all the people handling his insurance case rescue all his crap for him.

If Chris thought he was being harassed now, wait until he announces a big lottery win, he'll be bombarded with potential sweethearts who'll syphon every last red cent from his blobby carcass in a matter of weeks.

Do you have the option to remain anonymous in the US? Over here, they won't even announce where the ticket was bought if the winner doesn't want them to. Of course there's no way Chris would be able to resist declaring his victory and wearing the ultimate smug face.
