I don't understand how this shit became so popular with autistics. Autistics are stereotypically hardheaded and like things to stay the same.

Honestly the line that it is "grooming autists" is a cope. There are some notable trannies who are autistic, but most of them are not. And most autistics are the same as they ever were. Are they more suggestible? Yes, mentally disabled people are. The only reason a lot of them get caught up in trooning is because it's the big thing right now, it proselytizes aggressively, and that suggestibility plus never fitting in.

So much of the "ugh that tranny has autism face" or "that tranny with poor hygiene is obviously autistic" is just cope for the fact that a lot of very average people get caught up in these things, because you don't need to have a mental condition to be gullible.

A lot of autists are very socially awkward, so they isolate themselves, making them easy pickings for internet grooming and wanting to belong to a social circle. You similarly see the "can't get a gf so become the gf" line of thinking in a lot of trannies, which also checks out with the social issues. T4T stuff also generally falls in line with that.

Besides that, a lot of autists have sensory issues as well. If you're a little gullible I don't think it's hard to believe that you can get that twisted into thinking your body is inherently wrong, and your discomfort is due to some spiritual bullshit about being born as the wrong gender. I've seen trannies point out that other trannies standing around awkwardly and looking like they feel uncomfortable is them going through gender dysphoria, but I've seen plenty of autists do the exact same shit.

Also, many autists develop coping mechanisms for the above. Whether that's stimming, screaming loudly if they don't get their way, obsessing over something retarded, or just playing videogames in their room all day. I also don't think it's a stretch to say that trooning out could be a very similar kind of coping mechanism (a very self destructive one), which might explain why so many describe it as helping their "gender dysphoria".

Which is weird, since some of these things are completely disconnected of what's perceived in the real world in day to day life, and many times even contradicts it. At the very least some questions about it would be in order. I've seen some examples but I didn't save any. What's up with that?

Being trans used to be and often still is a guarantee that you won't get kicked out of a group no matter how awkward you are. That's a huge benefit to autistic people (and regular socially awkward people) that makes it worth it to stay invested.

Even for non-autistic women who transition, ditching social expectations to 'be a man' has a lot of benefits in terms of ditching make up, stopping having to cater to and socially reassure everyone etc. Dress simpler, act louder. But for male trannies who I would say are more often autistic than ftms are - autism is commonly comorbid with paraphilias - they're adding a bunch of sensory issues like make-up, wigs, and scratchy plastic temu clothing. I don't get how they put up with it all.

That's playing up the pivot behind all of this. The ideology is about building on victimhood complex and uniting them against the "oppressors", straight white men. Since victimhood is social capital, it makes sense to attach yourself to the most victimized group that ever existed, which is trans. Especially since straight white men can opt in to the group.

There's also a great deal of infantilization in troon circles (think Kevin Gibes). This too is an abdication of responsibility. Watch how many troons don't want to be women, they want to be girls. EDIT: This may be why so many of them are pro-communist/socialist, since they expect that the government will take care of all of their needs for them under such a system. It fits with their desire for someone else to take care of them/rejection of adult responsibilities.

He was the only one using his camera, probably to stop people from saying as soon as they heard his voice, "Oh, with a name like [Beverly], I thought you were a woman." He was wearing a woman's top, blue fingernails, and was constantly playing with his long, scraggly hair. And, of course, he sounded like a Boston stereotype when he talked. I have noticed that troons who look like they've been doing it for a while just talk like guys. They make no effort to fake a feminine voice. I suppose keeping up a fake voice is the most draining part of being a "high-effort tranny," and so that's likely the first thing to go.

Someone just told me that Hideo Kojima has posted pictures with Hunter Schafer, so that's the first thing that actually adds any credibility to the rumor. Because why is Hunter in Japan hanging out with videogame people? If the rumor is true, I guess Nintendo of America has more influence than I thought over the movie.
