Remember, vtubing did not start out with streams and during the beginning times it was edited videos in its near entirety. I wish more hololive talents played into this like Watame and Polka. I'm used to streams by this point, but more video content from Chammers would be nice.

It would be nice to have some videos that aren't YT Shorts. That or just a monthly "best of" video instead of clippers milking 5 different 2 minute videos from a single stream.

I miss watching Kizuna Ai and Kaguya Luna videos.

If by some cruel gods punishment, my future daughter approaches me and ask me "Dad, what should i be? A twitch thot/OF model or a VTuber" id tell her to be a twitch thot (and ofc id take the rope and hang myself for not being a proper parent if my daughter has to ask me that)

Your first question should be the type of content she wants to make as a Vtuber, then see the model. At least with VTuber, you have a chance that she won't whore herself. With OF, you are basically fucked as there is a 99% chance the content is whore activity.

I can get feelted to concede to that argument. Looking at it, i could have phrased my original point a bit better. To be frank, i dont hate Vtubing as a concept, i find Japanese woman trying to speek english, as the redditors would put it "wholesome ane funny". But that quite small minority, employed by multi million dollar companies (eg. Hololive) with most likekly strict rules of behavior. My problem mostly lies with like American Vtubing scene... like Shondo, that rabbit one that did the fucking fetish tierlist and thoes like models designed with the coomer audience in mind, and many others. Its that like whore like behavior, where you sell your dignity to most likely to some sick fucks for what, money? Like thats what i mean. At that point just be a whore.

So let me get this straight, in the theoretical scenario you have a daughter who wants to be a vtuber or OF whore, you are stating you would prefer she does literal porn with her real face and identity attached to it than... use an anime girl avatar? I dunno mate even the worst side of vtubers, lewdtubers, are better than the one in a million shot of making it as an OF whore, and without the drawback of your porn now being permanently available to any rando on the internet for maybe a buck.
 
The thing holding ASMR Vtubers back is the ASMR.
In the beginning I quite enjoyed Miyoshino Shiki. Her personal history (which is quite funny by itself) aside, she seemed to have an actual passion for singing and music in general. I find artists who are like this fascinating, people who are able to express and create in notable ways. The mindset is something I want to study in my free time away from the ball crushing factory. Even her gameplay was enjoyable. However, I did what all tourists do and fucked off for a while. Came back and she now has GFE ASMR. I assume this was a last ditch effort by PRISM before it fell under to get some cash, but continuing it afterwards left me disappointed. She had the voice, the yap, the games. But it seems coomers have done what they always do and ruin a good thing for their nut
 
VTubers have a very poor grasp of marketing and can be way too open about discussing it when they've clearly failed.
It's an unpopular opinion because apparently everyone knows how to market to viewers but it doesn't work because algorithm or something.

She has a kid, not might, she does. Not sure what's wrong with you though, hope you get it fixed.
