Oh god, I was debating bringing up Amino possibly. I've actually had someone show this app to me in the past, but I'm a bit scared to even touch it with a ten foot pole ever again.

From what I experienced, it appears to really just be a place where people can stay in their own little isolated communities while being able to actively remove anyone who remotely disagrees. Though, there's a lot of potential within the app to get some laughs from it.

Needs more screen caps. Clicking the links there's a few 'so dumb they're funny' posts but isn't anything worse than tumblr. It's make your own forum: tumblr edition.
Edit: clicking around on the lgbt boards links me to an alarming amount of 13 year olds who identify as pan sexual. The one advantage this has over tumblr is profiles generally have an actual photo of the person.

Amino is made mostly for younger children to connect and talk about their interests, and the mods are usually children as well, which is probably why they ban everyone who disagrees. You get a few older autists talking to the eleven year olds, and just generally being like your usual DeviantART sperg. There's nothing special about Amino, when it's easier to just get cow content on DA.
