I'd recommend watching Emergency! - the OG of paramedic shows - if it's available on a digital subchannel near you, even if it may seem a bit dated from originally airing back in the 70s.

I still enjoy the Rekieta Greer streams in the same way I can still enjoy Pink Floyd's music even though Roger Waters is a weapons-grade cockwomble. Both the Greer streams and PF's music still hold up, and I don't have trouble separating the art from the artist in these cases (well, maybe I struggle a bit more with Rackets than Waters, but my point still stands).

In the vein of Greer trying to use things that aren't his, in Greer's presentation he presented an alternate plan to open a brothel of using an existing motel instead of the Gilman land. The Scott Shady Court Motel which is about three minutes away from Baud street where the brothels formerly were.



As far as I can tell there's zero indication that the Scott Shady is for sale or that they would be open to becoming a half brothel since they label themselves as "family-based hospitality". Seems like an alright place, not fancy but it's also the middle of nowhere, Nevada.



I assume Greer thinks eminent domain means that he can take half of someone's business and use it for whatever purpose he wants.

Part of motel that Greer wants to take over, consists of 26 rooms by my count.

ROFL. Imagine being the owner and operator of that motel and finding out Russell is intending to seize a portion of your property to set up a brothel. There no scenario where they are aware that it makes any sense unless they turn out to be total sleazeballs, and there's no indication of that from first glance.

"Why yes Mr. Greer, you can cordon off a wing from our property to run your whorehouse."

It's somewhat plausible that he spun up a conversation regarding renting a wing as a tenant for a business, but not delving into any detail. Ofc, he'd think it's a done deal after the initial conversation and incorporate it as his alternate plan his brothel. He's probably betting on "You awweady ageed to a eal. I'll take you to court" being enough to scare them away from fighting it. (Does facial paralysis include the tongue? Asking so I can copy Russ more faithfully.)

Either way, I'd love to see the prior correspondence to gauge how much bullshit he fed them, if they're aware, and future correspondence with them blowing the fuck up at him. Their initial reaction will be priceless.
