EO aren't laws. While I would love to see lower prescriptions just passing an EO isn't really going to change anything.

Executive Orders aren’t laws. That’s true. However, they have the force of law, which is actually far more terrifying than the law itself.

For example, marijuana was made illegal through laws by Congress, but the Executive branch only selectively enforces it, so nobody really cares about it. But Trump could write an Executive Order today directing the FBI to put every single dispensary owner in jail, and then he could proclaim that states legalizing weed are in rebellion (which would not be incorrect based on precedent), and then he could suspend habeas corpus due to that rebellion, all this done via EO, and there would be nothing anyone could do to get those owners out of jail.

Medicare is a complicated beast of various laws and EOs and rules already in place. The Medicare system is powerful because it does compel hospitals, doctors, and pharmacies to comply with various requirements. Trump certainly has a lot of legal rope to work with to get the pharmaceuticals to do what he wants.

Hydrogen is fucking retarded. Even if there were convenient locations to refuel at (there aren't) it's absolute dogshit to store. There are something like 50 fueling stations in California and practically none anywhere else.
