That's the laziest baking so far. So she bought puff pastry, shaped it, and put in some kind of soft cheese and guava-jelly. That's 5 minutes of work and in the oven it goes. Unless she made her own puff pastry which I highly doubt.
Not even shitting on the pastry, it looks pretty good and I would love to try it on a Sunday morning. But this is nothing to brag about.

I just realized why her baking shit bothers me so much, and I think it’s because (besides being an obvious deflection) it’s half hearted and sloppy like kind of everything she does.

Now get this! Ian is whatever his long term collaborator at the time is. Anisa has no identity. Ian tries to mimic Anisa but finds nothing to mimic as she has no identity beyond following trends. They both end up unhappy and lacking in identity which leads them to follow anyone with any charisma even if it leads to their ruination.
Anisa lacks identity and Ian mimics her lack of identity. It is amazing if you think about it. They are each other's worst partner in everything!
