Bro Team, aka Sean Wever, does "reviews" of video games and streams himself laughing at holocaust denial by his online friends over largely irrelevant gameplay. He thought it would be funny to pretend he was a team of bros, and he made his logo a blue and red pill but I don't know why the fuck he did that, so his channel is called Bro Team Pill. He started off making hyperactively edited videos in which he embodies the ironic persona of a bro who fully buys into the hype of shitty games and juxtaposes his macho voiceover with ironic footage of the game that undercuts his points; i.e. he's pretending to be retarded and he's never once dropped the facade. He specializes in abysmal games no one should ever play like War Inc or...Portal 2, you IGNOMINIOUS FUCKING SCOUNDREL.

Then he proceeded to play shitties for about a decade. He got fucked by Machinima, but who didn't? He made a profit off of Mohammed. He was a minor (?) player in gamergate, mostly though laughing at developments on his twitter. He streamed with a semi-regular cast, conducting "fights", summarized in the "Fate of" videos. None of the other participants are particularly interesting outside of this as far as I know, but my autism caused me to be interested in one anyway: Circumsoldier.

Circumsoldier​

Circumsoldier is (was?) a Ukrainian man with a very distinctive voice, accent, and microphone shittyness who was a staple on Brote streams. Here's a random one he's in. Circumsoldier had a tumblr, circumsoldat.tumblr.com, which is now defunct, on which he posted art and fleshed out concepts for a world he was creating for a video game shits and giggles. One of the hallmarks of his style are aliens and cyborgs with developed thigh and buttock regions, you know, for strength probably. Tumblr was always for shitters and was an early infinite scroll piece of shit, so it doesn't archive well, but here's one archive I could find with a bit of relevant content. Notice at the top Circumsoldier having to tell off people who are horny over some egg creation of his, and one representative piece of artwork was saved:

No lol if he was this thread wouldn't suck so bad. But he is a fat fuck with sleep apnea and he was posting screenshots of the sleep tracking "game" that came with his CPAP machine. Then he got diagnosed with low T and got supplemented and underwent second puberty, causing him to play goon games on stream and thirst after Mariah Mallad aka Momokun. How did he get away with streaming porn games? Well, being banned on youtube and twitch (archive) helps, as he was in 2021, and so does streaming on coolhole.org (a cytu.be spinoff, also used for KF movie night) and some random other site that focuses on art I can't remember. He also made a whole ass horror movie, Trend! As you can see on IMDb, it won "awards" at three festivals, but I have no idea where you can watch it and there are no reviews, so maybe just a scam on the Canadian cultural grants? That's about as much lolworthy stuff as I know about. I sure wish I had citations for any of this! One day I will have scrolled back far enough on his twitter through xcancel to get some, but if any of you have twitter and can find it faster, I will not be upset. I also made this partially because some of the shit like circum's blog might actually be lost forever, so our own memory of it is all that remains.

Angry Joe did a top 10 controversy video. In it, he mentioned Gamer Gate, which included the Bro Team logo (which has since been redone to remove any likeness to the original pill logo BroTeam uses).

Yup. There's some lore and funny stuff I vaguely remember, and for years I wasn't keeping up with everything he was up to, but every time I did it was very weird; maybe it's partially just parasocial involvement, but I like KF threads that organize that shit and make it easily available, so I decided to be the change, but it's still very much a work in progress on that front. As @Tablet County said, he was always self-aware about this stuff and laughing along, so this isn't a cow thread. In any case, I'm gonna keep scrolling his twitter and find sources for the funny medical stuff, try to work out wtf happened with his movie. I could prob get further joining his discord and asking people for some stuff, but I don't have it and fuck that.

@Pizdec thanks for bringing up the Angry Joe thing, that might be the most cowish thing Brote's done. Whatever you think of Joe's video, it's obvious including the pill was editorializing and should fall under fair use. If Sean didn't like the point Joe made that much, he could say it's slander, but he took the easy way out of copyfagging. I'm sure some of this stuff is on the old bro team forum which is down, but might be archived; he used to put out official updates there.

But again, multimedia thread. Mostly I just like Brote and figured there could be a place to discuss him and bring more visibility to the fact he's still around making shit, and just talk about the vids.
