This is a reflection of the (saner) time, and is also a couple of years before Susie Green joined as a trustee in 2011 (although I have to assume she was involved as a member before then).

MESMAC are also in West Yorkshire. Leeds (the main city in W. Yorks) seems to be rather a breeding ground for this. Mermaids are based there, MESMAC. And there’s the only prostitution tolerance zone in England, in Holbeck, where the police basically don’t answer calls 7pm to 7am.
