I know that this is a fact, but did anyone try to do any research on how/why this happened? Calling any politician a lolcow by virtue of them being politicians shows a misunderstanding of lolcows. Most cannot be because they so carefully curate their personal lives that there’s no milk. There are definitely cow moments, Hillary and the balloons, Jeb and “please clap”, but there’s no constant stream of milk. Just moments like we all have.

Trump has been a lolcow since the 80s at least. He’s used the media as a tool since then to try to attack others and to pad his image. Everything you think you know about Trump from his past came from a phone call from “Jon Barron” to the Enquirer, which was on his payroll.

Yes, trucking is in the shitter. We've been in a freight recession since 2022 and just as we were getting out of it, the trade shit has killed a lot of the volume. The big carriers have long contracts that can ensure their survival but independents are fucked.

EDIT: I should expand a little - this is the longest freight recession we've ever seen, worse than 2008. And coming on the heels of it is a trade war downturn. There's a ton of truckers who are simply going to have to leave the industry permanently.
