Where are you buying your ribs? The best barbecue restaurant in my city doesn't charge that much for a slab and the meat is perfectly cooked and seasoned and literally falls off the bone it's so tender.
The butcher price has gone from $15 to $25 in the last month and an half and restaurants in my hellhole hovel of the Midwest now double that on the bill. It’s a rare exception I don’t see a change in price but that’s not to say I don’t still see some local stores trying to keep original prices in order. A full rack of baby back now costs somewhere between $35 to $50 if you don’t cook it yourself.
