There's some random reality TV show my spouse watches that follows around CBP people at the Canadian border. At least every other episode has a segment about some idiot who makes a wrong turn on this bridge from the states and heads into the border crossing. The problem is, once you cross onto that bridge, you HAVE to go to the officials at the border and get checked. They always end up arresting some dumbass because he made a wrong turn and had an 1/8th of weed or a gun on him.

This is a reasonable take. The States are in charge of the voting process, not the Federal government. States should require proof of citizenship, but it should come from the Legislature of said State, not the Feds.

That's part of the reasoning behind the tariffs... Am I wrong about this? Curious now.
If you are going to cite a reasoning for a tariff and use that reasoning to personally attack me, you better be able to prove that I made such an argument. Do not put words in my mouth, you 4chanigger. I do not appreciate it.

Ah, so now we're only interested in protecting some US businesses... I think they call that moving goalposts.

Also, it's not just "resellers", it's also companies that manufacture inside the US but use some imported materials. Or are they not supposed to benefit from Trump's eutopia either? Again, reality contradicts your narrative, and your jingoist attitude towards the economy is retarded.

Where did I say this? Maybe point this out before you start jerking off over your strawman.

Parasitic isn’t the same thing as self reliant. They can’t buy the shit they make, so no, they aren’t self reliant

And Americans reselling toxic Chinese shit are traitorous

Japan will not take part in any trade bloc that seeks to isolate China, given the importance of China as a trading partner.

Violating teachers first amendment rights. Wtf, when a Teacher is in a classroom, the property of the State, accepting the States pay as an employee of the State, to teach the curriculum as mandated by the state, on what planet does a court think the Goverment and it's agents acting in official capacity have "first amendment rights". Insane.
The same planet as the judge's coke stash.
I've been wondering if Trump needs to sit down with SCOTUS and tell them "If you do not get your faggots in line, I will ignore these things, you will lose legitimacy, and every ruling you do out of spite against me will be seen as invalid because of your grievances to me personally," or if he should just do a live Oval Office address and tell the country "the Supreme Court is facilitating destruction of your rights and choices in November '24, and I am going to follow through on what I promised you, the people /Bane"

These court rulings are not making people doubt Trump, they are making people realize this is a witchhunt which they saw for the last three years, and realized that was bullshit. Somehow I think they expected the economy to crater to put more judicial pressure on Trump but what we're in right now is perfectly fine and tolerable for people, if we're hovering around 38-42,000 on the Dow that's nothing, especially when people can see other things getting better.
Honestly a sit down is the only way to stop this from going nuclear. I hate to invoke him, but he needs to treat the courts like FDR did. FDR got away with murder because he threatened to nuke the system if they didn't get the fuck out of his way. They did, and they kept the system. They just stayed clear of FDR.
Every day, I understand how right Andrew Jackson was.

Straight from the horse's mouth: the reason why these tariffs are in place. If you want to be obtuse and say you didn't mention this, then I can only deduce you didn't know this, in which case you're arguing from an uninformed position.

George Washington talked all the fucking time about how much he hated foreign affairs and that he envisioned the US as a country that doesn't need their influence and shouldn't worry about what other countries are doing. Completely self reliant. There are literally hundreds of quotes of Washington talking about this but possibly his most famous and to the point quote is "History and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of Republican Government." It drives me so crazy that George Washington, the man himself, laid out almost every kind of threat that America will face in the future and how easily these things can destroy America and no one listened to him, it went in one ear and out the other to most people and hundreds of years later all the things Washington warned about were 100% correct.
It's not like what he said is cryptic either. Egypt trying to get involved with Roman Republic politics both got itself killed and arguably drove the final nail through the Roman Republic.

Nowhere in that screenshot supports or mentions the chinks being more self reliant than the USA.

All right, so I never said that and you're an asshole. Got it. Carry on.

I hate communists and I don't care if Trump throws a few nukes at them. Total commie death are the words I utter.
