Related to the historical background of the Ukraine war, I just saw this uploaded a few days ago. It's the most high quality footage of the events of 1993 that I have seen, and it really reveals a lot of things. It has a number of stupid comments but also surprisingly some intelligent ones last time I checked. I always wonder why this pivotal event is so overlooked, and also when you consider the mechanizations of foreign powers too in regards to Yeltsin.

I think Zelensky is terrified the Nazis in his military will string him up if he makes peace, plus he is coked the fuck out and he changes his mind every 5 minutes. Right now it is like watching a boxing match where one boxer is just fucking up his opponent and he keeps looking to his opponent's corner to see if they are going to throw in the towel to save their guy and they are refusing to save him. There is nothing Ukraine can do to win this war and that should be painfully evident to even the most retarded NAFO member since their failed offensive 2 years ago. Trump is openly fed up with Zelensky and it seems he wants to normalize relations with Russia and make economic deals with them. It is going to be curious to see what Russia does in coming days/weeks, if they continue on as they have or if they go all out to try and force Zelensky to the table.

Correct. Zitadelle was only launched because the Germans needed to solve the problem of shortening the line so that they can better brace against the now-oncoming Soviet offensive. The only reason they needed to brace was because they lost an entire fucking field army in Stalingrad and the subsequent Operation Uranus which basically opened a gaping hole in their lines and swallowed up approximately a good half of their then-extant mechanised force in the southern front.
Citadel was a swansong, but the script to it has been written when they failed to break the 62nd Army in Stalingrad the previous summer and got themselves ground down in the subsequent knife fight.
