Millennials are just as greedy and materialistic but largely that's a consequence of the boomers teachings and the main difference is they have no wealth to horde. they don't own homes, they're being crushed with debt, many can't afford to put money in the stock market or invest in anything, there are hardly any good jobs that can support a family on a single income and boomers are refusing to leave them any inheritance at all. They sell their homes to BlackRock, move into lavish retirement communities and take cruises and European vacations to squander everything they were given before they go as a final "Fuck You" to their children and grandchildren.
