@mold keeps mentioning the sepsis deaths but that will fall flat as well because not only have people started tuning out the exaggerations and half truths of abortion activists, Texas is a bad argument because either:
- you're a liberal and you already think Texas is a backwater shithole
- you're a conservative and you think Texas' sepsis deaths are obviously from how many niggers and illegals are inflating the numbers
I am so grossed out by anticipating these women's deaths being the theme of the midterms I'm not enthusiastic about doing an explanatory writeup, there is also a history on this site of people just getting abortion law badly wrong and everyone ragespergs tf out about the subject, but I'll just say this, and again, unless the democrats have really decided YOLO they're going with revolutionary communism as a strategy, you're going to be hearing about it
first of all, I don't know how people can simultaneously hold the belief that women, who are the half the electorate, are irrational, but also refuse to understand that the actual facts don't matter. what matters is if a given stimulus works to get people out to vote.
second of all the Texas sepsis deaths are actually a very clear example of doctors choosing to CYA rather than risk prosecution and this directly leading to deaths that otherwise would not have happened.
third, it does not matter that this is basically nothing to do with Trump. Again, this is about getting out the vote in the midterms and is one of the issues that is likely to gum up Congress and get incumbent GOP governors out of office.
I actually think something very hinky is going on in Texas, because the doctors refusing to perform D&Cs but still prescribing abortifacients doesn't make sense if they're trying to avoid prosecutions, but when I've pointed this out to women who have shown me the stats this is too complicated for people without a particular combo of legal and obstretical experience to understand.
finally, again, this was part of a list of issues you'd think the democrats would be bringing up rather than gargling MS-13 balls. Actual dead American woman, some of whom were mothers and left motherless children, you'd think it were tailormade. But nope. The boomeriest second wavers I know, the ones who are out there protesting, are vaguely aware of it, radfems know about it, nobody else even knows. it's very very odd.
