Yeah - even under a nutcase like Clinton, it would have died, only to become a zombie with the same effect of ultimately not covering most middle-classers and likely knocking of all its poor people, thus being a failure due to a lack of choice - or better yet, a real solution - providing Medicare / Medicaid to everyone (something me, my mom & dad royally agree on!!!), regardless of age/class - level/income. In fact, the ludicrous income requirement and lack of a public option made this a failure in the making to begin with - besides far too many people I refuse to call "humans" being in the state / federal levels lobbying for & accepting donations from corporations/doctors, etc. fucking this shit up.

I don't see any debate happening anytime soon, but more marching against this - SOMETHING WORTH MARCHING FOR (and yes, I must exclaim that.) like this and other issues worth such behavior are more than welcome, regardless of your political leanings, going forward. A nation where even %10 of the population cant afford something almost everyone else has like healthcare is NOT a nation worth living in and NEVER will be. I've said this before - I don't care. The realization that a disturbing number of people on disability/government assistance aren't genuinely nice people victimized by society but the ADF's of the world, selfish cunts who collect welfare because they're lazy or such massive assholes that they cant get jobs is largely what turned me into a center rightist instead of a liberal.
