The Worst TV Shows You've Ever Seen

I started watching Evil because Mike from RLM said it was good. I think I got 3 episodes into it before I realized it's network TV slop with way too much wokery in it.

Stoklasa's taste in movies and shows is pretty bad in general. Every time he mentions something he saw outside of RLM reviews, it's always something shitty and mainstream.

As for me, I'd say it's Sex And The City. I only saw maybe two or three episodes with a friend because we were staying late drinking. We thought "aaahh, what the hell, let's see what the fuss is all about". It was very obviously created by a gay guy - a completely crooked view of male/female relationships that made me facepalm every couple of minutes.

NBC Thursday night shows were enormously popular, and I think Wings was on for so long simply because it was on after enormously popular shows. Even when it was on, I can't recall anyone ever talking about it.
Looking back, just reading up on it, you can see how much junk NBC stuffed into gaps to fill out their schedule for their Must-See Thursdays. So many derivative, lame one or two season wonders that stayed on the air because NBC just needed...something to occupy slots. Like a show called Union Square that existed on NBC for a season, starting in 1997, on Thursdays, there appears to only be an episode or two ever posted online but it sounded dire, like a Cheers-wannabe set in a Manhattan diner starring one Mel Gorham as a would-be actress (who was being sold by NBC at the time as a breakout star, "a Latina Lucille Ball" (shudder) and a supporting cast of wacky characters who probably got into wacky scrapes week after tedious week.

Two Broke Girls and Broad City horrify me because they portray having BPD as not only something cute and quirky but desirable.

In real life people avoid BPD demons like the plague because having your ex girlfriend show up naked on your front lawn at 2am wearing your dog's bloody pelt and starting fires isn't fun.

I tried watching the Silo because people kept praising it.
But I cannot make it past episode one.
Happy go lucky Rashida Jones is so unfitting for a role in a supposedly dark and dystopian environment.
The plot of her being a no nonsense journalist uncovering whatever the fuck that she uncovered, and then instantly turning on her society, disregarding her husband etc. There is no nuance to anything. It feels like babbies first dystopian fallout fan fiction.
And my guess is that "the outside" is 100% habitable and there is a society living outside there. And the ruling class in the Silo is secretly evil or some bullshit.

Poker Face is the worst TV show ever made by human hands. It can't get anymore lame and gay. It looked at Disney's Star Wars and Disenchantment and said "hold my beer!".
I'm guessing you're not a fan... of Rian Johnson? Or politics?

Not amazing, but fine. Quirky 2002-style detective show. Enjoyable enough. The S1 finale lost me when she got a dildo stuck on her finger for Reasons and couldn’t get it off until the plot allowed.

CBS has a storied history of unfunny shows, but NBC had the energy of a dying mall.

I gave Joey a shot. It was like watching a man slowly realize he’s not funny, on television, in real time.

Then there was the Emeril sitcom. No, Sherri Shepherd could not act. Robert Ulrich looked like a cautionary tale. Pretty sure he was undergoing cancer treatment. Deeply uncomfortable.

Oh, and The Michael Richards Show. Ostensibly about a detective agency, in reality just a work com. Had the vibe of a funeral where no one liked the deceased.

Yeah and I admit, you guys can boo me, I wasn't a fan myself. Granted I was told about years after it first aired. Also I was never the person who got exited about popular opinion when it comes to media. So I tried watching the first episode, turned it off and never looked back.

Lil' Bush was always better.

It could at least go into the so over the top absurd its funny realm. Thats my bush was just l o l bush dumb republicans dumb then 9/11 happened.

As far as movies, Final Fantasy the spirits within is probably the worst movie I saw(in theaters/paid for that is). Nonsensical story(lol wtf is another planet's ghosts coming to haunt Earth?), idiotic over the top comic book villian and cgi which doesnt stand the test of time.

I'm nominating this one for worst tv show i've ever seen:
It also had some of the weirdest casting choices ever. I mean goldfinger as a vampire hunter and batmans butler as a vampire? Really?

Second place is north of 60. The only positive thing I can say about it is, despite what the intentions of the writers and such may have been, it really makes the natives look like racist, manipulative, criminal pricks. So it gets the general vibe of the average reservation right. Bonus points for making the band manager a white guy, having the chief get kicked out of his position by the biggest criminal and bootlegger in town, who fucks up and gets kicked out again to put the old guy back in, who then proceeds to embezzle an entire years budget for the band to pay some random oil company on the off chance there might be oil or gas to exploit in the area, to the point the power company cuts the whole town off. Oh and getting scammed into building a tannery by con artists when they were even bigger cons themselves and admitted they wanted to jack the prices of furs up with it and control the local market....and convince another local white guy to invest his life savings in said scam, which he loses, is never reimbursed for and gets shunned and kicked out of his own home by the band shortly after and forced to live in some shitty trailer in the woods because 'the contract says you are entitled to the trailer but not that it has to be in the same spot it is now! we're building a new house for the relative of the corrupt band chief who just fucked you over in that spot!'

If they tried to put out a show like that today the left would eat them alive for being a little too on the nose for how skeevy the natives actually are in it

It pisses me off that no one has uploaded this Mad TV sketch that perfectly roasted Arli$$. Just annihilated that show and it's nowhere on the internet and I can't even find the Mad TV episode that had the parody and try and download that. I really find it hard to believe that there's fans of Arli$$. If you look on YT, there's literally a handful of videos pertaining to the show and that is it. It left next to no cultural footprint aside from being the butt of a joke.
Only time I remember mad tv roasting it was in the intro to the oz parody:

The Good Witch. I watched it just to get mad. I’m like that guy Ralph the Movie Maker and Mystery Diners.

The Good Witch's name is Cassie Nightingale. Sounds like a porn star. She's not even a real witch, she just does smug fortune cookie shit like: “Sometimes the path chooses you."

Jamie Denton deserves better. He’s the definition of “dead inside but trying to pay bills."

Mayor Tinsdale is played by 90's Jean Grey. (She spent the whole show just orgasming her way through every mutant crisis.) She starts out as the classic Hallmark villain ("won’t approve the pumpkin festival”) but by episode 3 she’s comic relief. She shows up to town meetings dressed like a faberge egg. They give her plot lines like, “We must protect the gazebo funding!”

Meanwhile Cassie stops even pretending to be a character. And by that I mean, few seasons in and she’s just acting like the actual actress. And they still pretend she’s this earthy wise woman but it’s like she went from The Good Witch to The Goop Witch.

I had an ex who would always watch Shameless. I fucking hated that show and wanted all the main characters to die. The show is also far left propaganda full of strawmen arguments.

She was also on Forever Knight and the second season of War of the Worlds.

She was a fox back in the day. I hope she gets some Ozempic or something 'cause it's depressing seeing her now.

Catherine Disher just got old. That's all. Think Kate Bush. I love when she basically dragged Sophie Turner and the Dark Phoenix film.

Isn't the lead actress on that show a Scientologist?

There was a brief trend in the 2010s to try and rehab the image of borderline personality disorder into something cute and quirky instead of horrifying and demonic.

A bunch of "comedies" with sociopathic female leads ie Broad City, Two Broke Girls, Awwkwafina, The Mick ect were released with this goal in mind.

All are incredibly off putting and have aged like spoiled milk.
