The Worst TV Shows You've Ever Seen

Mr Robot. The actor is annoying as hell (as Freddie Mercury too) and the show became mainstream political as soon as the orange man was elected.

I watched two seasons of that show based on a recommendation and I was blown away by how annoying it was.

First of all, they ripped off Fight Club. It is so obviously a Fight Club ripoff that its distracting.

Second, Season 2 really came off whatever rails Season 1 had and completely killed any interest I might have had.

Season 3 started and they blamed everything on the "establishment" and Trump with flashbacks of his election and the wall and i noped out.

I hate to join bandwagons but Allen Gregory

I remember Jonah Hill talking about the show at comic con 2010, I saw the pilot when iTunes gave it away for free, and I tend to remember even a tiny bit of almost every show I watch. Literally the only thing I remember was a shitty cover of In the Air Tonight and awkward silence throughout.
I think I blocked this out like a war vet blocks out memories of killing gook children.

My dad says Peacemaker is the best thing he’s ever seen. However, after my brother and I watched the first episode, we agreed it was the worst TV show either of us had seen.

Once upon a time in the mid 80's the Jim Henson Company made their own Christmas special, called The Christmas Toy. It was about a toy tiger on Christmas Eve who, upon discovering that tomorrow is Christmas, thinks that he is supposed to be unwrapped under the Christmas tree tomorrow morning just like he was last year. The rule in this special with toys is that if a toy is caught out of place by it's owner, they will "die" and never come to life again. So everyone tries to get the tiger back in his room before it's too late. He meets the new toy who doesn't know it's a toy, hijinks, a couple of the toys "die", but then magically come back anyways because the tiger feels bad. It's really not that good, as evidenced by the fact that it's only aired a handful of times since 1986 (although Muppets fans will furiously defend this special because Jim Henson).

This special should have been buried and forgotten, but eight years later they decided to resurrect the characters in their own TV show called the Secret Life of Toys. And man was it bad. The show highlighted just how fucking horrible the various toy characters were. You had a teddy bear that functioned as generic leader to the toys, a literally retarded clown doll, a fucking obnoxious girl doll that fucked shit up a lot, a spineless cat toy, and the tiger doll (who was the most tolerable character by far). Together they had non-adventures in their room in a show so amazing, it lasted 13 episodes because no one wanted to renew it (although I think reruns did air for a time).

Unfortunately just like with Wish Kid, my dad for some reason thought this was a show I loved and wanted to watch every Saturday. By this time I had my own TV (so my parents could watch their shit all the time and not have to give up a couple hours to be nice), so I thought I was off the hook. Nope. The bastard would actually come check on me halfway through the show to see if I was really watching it. It was really off-putting too, how overly enthusiastic he would be when he'd see the show on and when he asked what I thought about it.

However I wasn't going to put up with this shit so when it was on I'd keep my door closed (like I always did) and the volume down way low. This wasn't suspicious because when I first got the TV my dad warned me to never ever ever turn the volume up past, like, five. To the point where sometimes he'd actually come in and check the volume if he was walking by and thought it sounded too loud. Anyways, door shut, volume real low, and I'd put on Nick and watch a much better Nicktoon with bat ears. When I'd hear my dad coming I'd hit previous channel and turn on The Secret Life of Toys and just pretended like I was watching the whole time so I wouldn't get in trouble. Then as soon as he'd gone it'd be back to Rocko or whatever else Nick had running in that timeslot.

I wish I knew why my dad had a thing for forcing me (or trying to) to watch shows I couldn't fucking stand. Because this wasn't the last time either, but I'll save it for another post because this is long already.

tl;dr My dad tried to make me watch The Secret Life of Toys, which fucking sucks.

Devilman crybaby, fuck anyone who participated in that, and fuck you too if you enjoyed.

I never raged so much with something that I went with zero expectation.
On one hand, I'm glad Crybaby introduced some more people to Devilman and that the series more or less did the whole manga. On the other hand, I didn't care for the new additions. The art style looked too samey at points too. I thought the gay dude and the rapper were the same person for a bit. I wish it looked more like Uncle Go's art style. He's got a really distinct style and not using it was a waste. They still fucked up the Jinmen fight. Seriously, the only adaptation to get it right was that prologue in Cyborg 009 VS Devilman.

Still, not the worst anime I've ever seen. A really bad one I saw was Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit. That might be one of the driest, most nothing series I've ever seen.

Every single change in Crybaby weakens the story, even the live action movie had changes that are similar to crybaby but not shit (I prefer Miko in the LA movie than the manga) And the thing is: This isn't a case of a purist complaining about changes. I read almost everything Devilman available and not available and in different languages and I adore the world, so new additions to it doesn't bother me, I had zero expectations because I've seen other authors play with the concepts, but crybaby is so much shit that it doesn't get anything right or good, it is infuriating.

And Moribito, I never watched the anime, but I did read the two manga series (and found out by looking that 6 months ago a new one was translated into english) and I really enjoyed. It is really interesting world but I don't think it is for anyone. Balsa is quite rare type of character.

I have vague memories of an episode of a medical TV show where the gimmick was the doctors would meet in a tribunal to discuss issues the hospital was facing.
The A plot was determining if an young asian doctor commit malpractice when one of his patients died during surgery. The B plot's conclusion though will never leave my mind.
You see, it was a gag plot about a white women with alterative african medical beliefs. There was an organ extracted from her for a relative, as later didn't actually need it (might have died before surgery?). The woman wished to EAT THE ORGAN because it would be healthy according to her beliefs. It came down to Dr. Strawman and Miss Dr. Soapbox debating the issue. Dr. Strawman argued that this woman's beliefs were stupid and barbaric, therefore the hospital should not allow her to go through with it. Now, you can probably think of a decent defense that Miss Dr. Soapbox could use in favor of the woman. Such as, "Well, it is her organ therefore we would be crossing a line with the patients bodily anatomy if we just took it for ourselves." No instead the writers have Miss Dr. Soapbox give a speech about how American Medicine SUCKS (literally just WE HAVE MORE HEART DISEASE THAN AFRICA), and that untested african voodoo bullshit might actually be better! No one objects to Miss Dr. Soapbox's defense, and a senior doctor smugly approves to allow the patient to eat her own organ.

I have never seen television that bad to this day. I think it was cancelled after like 1 episode.

While staying with family over the holidays, my brother-in-law was watching Hell on Wheels, and they did a bait & switch. It sucks you in making you think it's gonna be a cool railroad show, but it's just retardedly terrible, historical revisionist nigger-lover cuck shit off the charts.

Whats a better series to watch, Spartacus or Rome?

They're both good in different ways, not an either-or. Rome is great because it's HBO when they still gave a shit and needed to have prestige series to sell itself before relying on streaming slop, and Spartacus is great because of tits, violence, and hitting that perfect point of being stupid and pretentious but knowing it is.

I started watching Evil because Mike from RLM said it was good. I think I got 3 episodes into it before I realized it's network TV slop with way too much wokery in it.
Whats a better series to watch, Spartacus or Rome?
Rome is a serious show. Spartacus is a modern sword-and-sandal exploitation series. They're both great for different reasons.

I don't really watch TV. The most recent series I've watched is Sharpe and while it doesn't suck I'm really miffed they swapped out the guy who played Wellesley. The second guy just can't sound as convincingly angry as the first guy could.
Back in the day I remember there was a medical drama called Private Practice and while I no longer remember anything about it, I do remember a character bringing up that she kept a vibrator in her purse out of nowhere and immediately thinking it was dogshit.
I've seen reruns of Wings. It's mild and inoffensive, so I never thought too ill of it, but there was an episode where Frasier and Lilith made a cameo and watching that side-by-side with either Frasier or Cheers really put into perspective just how fucking awful it is.

NBC Thursday night shows were enormously popular, and I think Wings was on for so long simply because it was on after enormously popular shows. Even when it was on, I can't recall anyone ever talking about it.
