Weren't those the engines where VW was caught faking emmissions tests?
The common-rail TDI's from 2009-2014 were the emissions scandal diesels. Via the rear wheel speed sensors. If those weren't rotating the fuel mapping was changed to pass the test iirc. I could sperg endlessly about diesel emissions. How DPF filters work pre and post urea injection being introduced. But I can say, the milage is real. From an 84 rabbit getting 42/54mpg city/hwy on a staggering 54 HP. To the great ALH brick shithouse engine subsisting off a diet of whatever oil like substance you throw into it. (Black diesel, WVO, etc The CR's do not tolerate "alternative" fuels.) They're well designed and frankly, Are worth owning if you can work on your own vehicle. Otherwise your looking at an economic masochism experience in the current year. I've seen every generation clock obscene mileage and have the powertrain outlast the body.
Cummins & Harley have had their own emissions scandals iirc. it's beurocratic overreach when it comes to diesel emissions. My own tuned diesel gets 56 on the hwy regularly when it's above 50ish f, no smoke. Plenty of power for a daily car and handles pleasantly.
in my experience German are fine if you service them on the dot. And by yourself, unless you're made of money. An ALH TDI or 8v 1.8l gasser is as reliable as a slant 6 or amc 6 imo. Part of the issue comes from "it's a reliable car, I don't need to service it right away" myth always leads to dead cars

Because the administration should adhere to policy and procedures of the United States. They shouldn’t abandon the rule of law when it becomes inconvenient for them.

Regardless of who the person is, he was not supposed to be on that plane. The government fucked up and should rectify their mistake.
Let me make this clear. The rule of law is Trump has complete fucking authority to deport whomever he wants for whatever fucking reason he wants. That's the rule of law. The guy was MS13 and has multiple injunctions by judges that he was MS13. If they didn't find that random protection order, then tough luck, you're SOL. The other end of that coin is Trump has absolute authority on deportations. He doesn't have to listen to that order either if he doesn't want to.

Boasberg is a faggot rogue unelected judge with no power who is trying to claim unrivaled power to the President and reduce the role to a figurehead by asserting legal authority he doesn't fucking have. Nobody voted for President Boasberg. Nobody has to listen to his faggoty ass. He doesn't have jurisdiction. He doesn't have standing. There is no Constitutional standing for universal injunctions. There is no law for universal injunctions. If anything our Constitution probably would've banned universal injunctions. Either way, he's way beyond his means to do this.

There is no "due process" for these scenarios. You want proof as to why? BECAUSE THE SUPREME COURT JUST ENSHRINED IT IN THEIR RULING. Yeah, you didn't know that, did you? Because nobody is talking about it. The ruling Roberts did probably dealt Trump the worst blow he's ever suffered this term. Why? In the ruling it enshrined Trump to have a duty to give these people a review. Roberts completely fucked him and took away Trump's right as President to issue deportations in favor of the "review and due process" system you're apparently demanding. Meaning now, according to that traitor Roberts, Trump now has to provide formal court reviews to every single MS13 Member he tries to deport. The Supreme Court didn't hand Trump a victory. They FUCKED him.

The rest of the legal citizens? What's going on is the district judge is harping on a technicality saying tax payer dollars need to be used to extradite a non-citizen who was here illegally for over a decade and may be associated with one of the most notorious gangs in the world due to a possible mistake in deporting him with gang members straight to CECOT, in the country that this illegal citizen illegally emigrated from to begin with.

No one actually gives a shit about the guy. It's team sports to stick it to Trump and he's just a means to an end. Outside of government bureaucracy it makes no sense for the US government to demand and pay for his return so that they can then send him back. At best the US should report what they know about him to El Salvador and let their authorities make the decision on whether he should be in CECOT or not, every normal person understands that. Trump was right in that those who want him back are the ones who want actual criminals running free all throughout the country, citizens or not. Evil people who care more about non-citizens than they do citizens.
The guy is pretending to be stupid either because he is paid to or he is retarded and that's the only kind of trolling he can pull off.

i dont get it.. they admit it was a mistake. why not let him return then? it makes no sense?

Ah yes, pressure El Salvador to release a salvadorian criminal so he can be sent back to the nation he illegally resided in.
Imagine reading that sentence and not seeing the pure insanity. You would be great as a partisan judge.

but what exactly is the argument for him being allowed to return to a country he should never have been in the first place?
It's mean.

Zoomers can't even do basic math. What makes anyone think they'll survive in a factory environment where they're surrounded by machines that hunger for human flesh?
Ulysses S Grant was a lazy, drunken shop boy before he became the Union's greatest general and the President of the United States.

If I don't trust our reserve amount at Fort Knox, I'm sure as hell not going to trust the chinks gold.
There’s a difference in how skewing the numbers benefits one entity vs the other

The US runs deficits all the time, so we’re skeptical that our gold is all there from the perspective that someone might have sold it to keep shit lumbering along.

China’s economy has been geared to maximize revenue inflows, overproduce, etc. They haven’t developed great living standards and they want to reduce the impression that they’re disproportionately benefiting.

I don’t know how reliable seekingalpha is but they and others say China under reports it’s gold reserves

Trump has A Ohio State University football team at the White House, let's Vance get some dilly dally love from the guys:

Meanwhile, in a sure fire win for the national electorate, a faggot senator is going to go to El Salvador and save a rapist illegal terrorist himself because he thinks the illegal is his constituent. Please God let this senator start shit and then be put in prison, it would be the funniest thing ever:

They should handle the reviews the same way that the Moonies conduct weddings. In an arena, 50,000 at a time.

God I hope we get the Democrat version of the 2016 GOP Primary where the knives come out.

Kamala calling out AOC for being a Bartender would be the greatest thing.

Was there any update on the venezualen barber who got deported?
My understanding of the situation is he came to the US seeking asylum (I've been unable to confirm if he entered legally or not, I know a lot of asylum seekers don't and change status after the fact), and had a green card.

Actually looking into it it looks like there may be two venezualen barbers in this exact situation Andry Hernandez (gay), and Franco Carabello (married to a woman).

Edit: Sorry, I was still catching up. I see this has been resolved. Additionally the "Maryland dad" deported as a result of "administrative error".

Any clarification on what happened here? Someone brought up the gay barber claiming he was deported "despite being a citizen" which I knew wasn't true but I'm unclear on the rest of the details.
