I don't doubt your experience but that is under pre-tariff circumstances. Now every industry will try to do the same. The supply of raw materials will not be able to keep up with the demand of every firm trying to reindustrialize their particular industry.

I know we have some issues with getting raw materials, but we can still get them. I'm not an expert in every corner of the economy, but we aren't working totally at the mercy of tariffs, as the news may imply.

For example, our company ordered a 6 month supply of steel as a buffer. We have it. It's not like people running manufacturing businesses are totally clueless. We knew Trump was going to do this and we were ready. Our plant could easily double it's capacity, we've never had trouble finding welders or electricians or anything. We pay close attention to every market fluctuation. Beam steel went from $0.86/lb before Covid to double that, now it's at $0.80. We survived that, this is no different, it'll go up again. Markets are all over the place all the time. We buy more when the price goes down and stockpile.

And then the parents mocked the religious as deluded and outdated, so the chance of their children stumbling on that instruction independently was deftly prevented.

Earlier this year, my lefty father (who actually watches Vaush) asked me if there are "any minorities" in a concerned tone who attend the church I've been going to for the past year. I don't know why he would even remotely care about what goes on in churches if he lives a secular life.
