🪦 Deceased Cooking with Simply Sara / Sara Potter

As much as it is insensitive of me to post this at a time of bereavement, I almost read the thread title as Choking with Simply Sara seeing that she is a self proclaimed cook from Britbongistan.
I mean, unless that's a funny name for West Virginia. It's not insensitive to do a little research during a time of bereavement.

I found this on one of her Facebook Sales Group Pages, Sara's Honeysuckle Boutique. The girl in the photo with Sara matches the PFP and other pictures on the Emily Robertson facebook. One of the reply posts indicates Emily is Sara's sister, but this obituary of Sara's mother debunks that. This is her niece, from Sara's sister/Aunt Carla Fitchpatrick, though. (Thanks facebook) so I would say this is likely pretty accurate.

Edit: Clarified because while the obituary above lists Emma Wheeler as Sara's mother, Emma's husband Bertrell does not list Sara as a daughter, and the quasi-obituary here lists Carla as her aunt. Per poster @Black Death , here, it seems there was some family shufflin' going 'round.
Sounds like septic shock related to the infection, maybe combined with a perf caused by her bowel obstruction, and they were giving IV albumin with crystalloids for fluid resuscitation. Sadly, not all shock can be corrected.

Giving the thread a once-over the only cowish thing about her seems to be her weight and her frugality?
I may have just gotten broad strokes but RIP Sara. You at least seemed happy making and eating what you enjoyed.

And yet people say we are heartless. Her buttermilk chicken sandwiches are actually decent. Ex made them years ago. Rip Sara.

An entire can of sweetened condensed milk + 1 cup of sugar + 1 cup of vinegar, and a jar of mayonnaise is a dressing recipe from deathfat hell. Her other cooking videos aren’t nearly this bad by comparison, as far as recipes go. I understand even adding a tiny bit of sugar to a dressing to add more flavor, but like 1 teaspoon of it, not an entire cup. If there’s one thing Sara had a talent for, it’s taking an ingredient that might actually go well in moderation (like sugar or mayonnaise), then adding way too much of it. The sweetened condensed milk shouldn’t have been in the salad at all though, absolutely haram.

I take it that Wanda herself is a deathfat and her taste buds were so dead that without the excessive sugar the poor thing can't taste a lick of that salad. That salad is truly a sight to behold. I hope the kiwi that said they might make it does. I want to hear how it tastes from a person who isn't Sara.

Maybe Betty and Jamie will get married, he is definitely going to need someone handling the household stuff.

Not a cow I follow but I've seen her around the YouTubes over the years. She wasn't as rotten as Chantal and Hamber, so she didn't hold my interest.

Wanda's Maccaroni salad recipe is... dare I say -- a very common pasta salad concoction (Sara was a little heavy handed on the sugar, but it does contain sugar). The local grocery stores in my area carry this in the deli section and I've eaten it at family gatherings over the years. It is very sweet, kind of a dated recipe probably from the 1960's (I'm guessing).

Maybe my feels were triggered and I'm being a softy tonight, but Sara seemed like an alright lady. Obviously she had some mental issues letting herself get morbidly obese and such.
