Removing China, Germany's share of global manufacturing increased until the past decade. Japan despite population pressures did as well to the present day.
I must have made a mistake, I thought we were talking about the workforces (hence why automation being important here) and share of wealth at the national level, not the global one. We both agree that Germany and the US (as well as Japan) remain industrial powerhouses despite the service sector outgrowing the manufacturing sector in all 3 of those economies.
China is de-prioritizing the focus on software in education in favor of engineering, because they realized that "lower" level manufacture directly impacts and feeds into the capability for higher level manufacture, such as semiconductor fabrication.
I would not know if China's educational priorities directly translate into the capital allocation within China, where the service sector is still outgrowing the manufacturing sector.

Also, while SEA's growth is indeed motivated by friendshoring, I think it's much less of a factor than competitiveness in salary. The argument for geopolitically motivated growth is probably much better for Mexico, but a lot of the nearshoring investments have not yet made an impact in Mexico's manufacturing sector growth.

The stock market is actual literal fake bullshit. When r/wallstreetbets and /biz/ were pulling a funny they actually froze GME but only for retail traders, rich fucks and stock brokers could still buy it and trade it just fine.

That's not a free market, that's a rigged game for globalist lizard people.

But 2016 Trump doesn’t exist anymore. He sold out.
Though he survived the bullet it still killed the man he once was....

USD or other currencies, foreign markets, gold, real estate, etc.
In my left hand I hold an imaginary number. In my right is a stack of cash, a pile of blow, gold bars, and the deed to a house. You'd choose a funny number that makes billionaires and boomers rich over real actual tangible things?

"Tariffs are bad, they haven't been used since the Age of Sail, they don't work, no one uses them anymore, and they're always bad for the economy."
Trump has a chart
"Okay every other country uses tariffs and uses them specifically against the US but he's lying since this very specific definition I'm using means these countries only have a 33.33% tariff on US goods and not 90% like Trump said."

These people beclown themselves every day and I'm here for it.
thats something people have noticed when it comes to trump. "X" "no Y" "ok well it turns out he is mostly right but he wasn't 100% correct" and its been like this for a decade. honestly probably a lot longer, but Trump's the only one to call out the left on these kike tactics, the rest of the GOP were paid opposition so they didn't care about being vilified.

Like the left would rather die than give the right a win, whereas the right is so autistic that they genuinely assume the left and women and minorities are as sincere as they are about their stated beliefs.

And that's sort of the problem, society isn't remotely honest and openly attacks those that are sincere and it leads to people being jaded or cynical and its been this way for a very long time, especially if you're in the upper echoelons of society.

The guys working cart return might always be 100% sincere but no one people respect is, the guys in the army with an MOS of 11 whatever are honest and sincere but the officers and government contractors and everyone else isn't.

Do something pussy. Nuke 5th Ave and let my money be purified in hellfire.

The only people I know who use these services do it as a joke. Another pyrrhic victory for MIGA.
It was actually good for hobbyist electronics and such. I got my new keyboard switches from temu for $15 instead of $40. Just did my last batch of Arduino stuff before the tariffs hit. It's literally the same stuff that's on amazon but way cheaper.

E*Trade counts 10% or greater losses as callable in the premarket. I do hold market price shares; but I’m stuck in OKLO at $28.3, realistically I should’ve just bled the $200 and not white knuckled until $800. I now am drinking myself into a stupor in order to ignore the fact I’m holding 100 shares of Sammy Boy’s shitstock. Worst case I drop to 70 shares.

Maroon is a color. Maroon 5 is a band.
My condolences, power leveling for a minute but Ive gotten to watch a good amount of traders eat shit over the last two days, all trading equities; the futures traders seem unimpacted.

Temu's niche over other chinese sales platforms for united states exports is random farming equipment, dont ask me why I know this.

Trump has been consistent for over 38 years:

To The American People:

For decades, Japan and other nations have been taking advantage of the United States.

The saga continues unabated as we defend the Persian Gulf, an area of only marginal significance to the United States for its of supplies, but one upon which Japan and others are almost totally dependent. Why are these nations not paying the United States for the human lives and billions of dollars we are losing to protect their interests? Saudi Arabia, a country whose very existence is in the hands of the United States, last week refused to allow us to use their mine sweepers (which are, sadly, far more advanced than ours) to police the Gulf. The world is laughing at America's politicians as we protect ships we don't own, carrying oil we don't need, destined for allies who won't help.

Over the years, the Japanese, unimpeded by the huge costs of defending themselves (as long as the United States will do it for free), have built a strong and vibrant economy with unprecedented surpluses. They have brilliantly managed to maintain a weak yen against a strong dollar. This, coupled with our monumental spending for their, and others, defense, has moved Japan to the forefront of world economies.

Now that the tides are turning and the yen is becoming strong against the dollar, the Japanese are openly complaining and, in typical fashion, our politicians are reacting to these unjustified complaints.

It's time for us to end our vast deficits by making Japan, and others who can afford it, pay. Our world protection is worth hundreds of billions of dollars to these countries and their stake in their protection is far greater than ours.

Make Japan, Saudi Arabia, and others pay for the protection extend as allies. Let's help our farmers, our sick, our homeless by taking from some of the greatest profit machines ever created --- machines created and nurtured by us. "Tax" these wealthy nations, not America. End our huge deficits, reduce our taxes, and let America's economy grow unencumbered by the cost of defending those who can easily afford to pay us for the defense of their freedom. Let's not let our great country be laughed at anymore.

Sincerely,
Donald J. Trump

If you want to put your money where your mouth is, here's a list of current USA-market model cars that are manufactured in the USA. If it's not on this list, it's either not made in the USA or out of production, or I just completely forgot it existed
Subaru also has a plant - the only of its kind outside of Japan, I might add - in the US. Somewhere in the Midwest.

edit: found it, it's in Indiana https://www.subaru-sia.com/about

Trump should talk to Kia and Hyundai about restarting car manufacturing in Detroit. Why Kia and Hyundai? Because they will have the necessary staff required to do business in Detroit.

U.S. President Trump imposed a 10% tariff on Heard and McDonald Islands—uninhabited except for penguins.
Can't be too careful. Look at them. Clearly planning something nefarious. You might see cute sea birds, but I see a formation of potential marines. Marching in formation from the sea to the land. A "March of the Penguins" if you will.

Hey Euros, why do you need tariffs if our cars suck and our food is full of chemicals?:

Those "safety" standards are non-tariff trade barriers, which is why Trump calculated the tariffs based off of the trade deficit and not the "official" tariff rate.

You know that there are American made cars other than full size trucks/SUVs?

The EU regulating foreign products out of their market is good because they care about "quality":

Why are Euros such smug, unaware hypocrites?

"I plan to boycott all American products"
"Why don't you start with Reddit then?"
"Nah the advantages of using Reddit are bigger than disadvantages":

These are the people that want Americans to die in Ukraine.

I also filed late on my taxes. Maybe I can use this as a loss write-off to receive some of those Patriot Funds the plebs aren’t receiving.
