Is this a joke?

This is lame.
I was hoping this would be the vampire game I wanted. Oh well.

Ugh, that trailer was super lame. Nothing exciting happens. Some woman mumbles some mysterious bullshit, boring looking characters are making some fighting moves and flying around in a boring environment, a boring looking monster is crawling around. The female character in the blue chinese dress doesn't fit into the game at all. She looks like a character from a fighting game. And in the end there is a cutscene for a fight with a character who is so badly designed that it seems like From didn't care at all.

The game is about blood AGAIN, a dying/dead world AGAIN but this time the world is Steampunk-ish (?). Fromslop is creatively bankrupt and the trailer is enough evidence that we can expect the same old story elements, only now in a worse game.

I'm sick of FromSLOPware!

I can't wait for another Moonlight Sword copy that is a far cry from Bloodborne's HMS.

You know, they could have released this on april fools and I would have laughed really hard, because "Dusk Bloods" has all the generic From Soft imagery.

They're throwing it away. I mean a FromSoft launch title? That's instant money, Bloodborne is still talked about as a cultural touchstone, but this is a generic online game. I'm wondering if this was rushed out, both Nintendo and From want a launch title on the switch 2, but it was short notice so they just cobbled together something with NightReign's engine or something, or Nightreign was a prototype for this.

It was bound to happen eventually since it always happens when a corpo reaches a certain level of financial success but It's still very blackpilling to see Fromsoft devolve into yet another slop factory pumping out multiplayer/live service slop.

If you're a guy like me who really loves high quality single player RPGs and action games the options are getting increasingly slim out there.
I’ve been noticing an uncomfortable amount of franchises that I like going down the shitter lately. I know modern gaming sucks but it’s getting much worse.

How much money did Nintendo get scammed into paying for this asset flip slop lmao
The strangest thing about all these live service games is that there's no way that people have enough time or money to play more than one or two of them consistently, so it's basically a certainty that most will fail. This Bloodborne asset flip is going to cannibalise their Elden Ring asset flip as well as Nintendo's audience for Nintendo's own online games (or it's going to fail horribly and cost Nintendo a lot of money and Fromsoft a lot of reputational damage).

It's weird that they are making two fucking multiplayer games at the same time.
I assumed Nightreign was the "extraction shooter", but I think this one is seems more like that genre, being also pvp.

It even more frustrating now, that the online game is console exclusive, because they will force you to pay for online...

Every time From Soft goes forward, I just want them to go back.
I've been wanting another game like Dark Souls 1 since Darks Souls 2 fumbled.
They haven't made a gimmicky game since DeS.
They still haven't gone back to Sekiro gameplay.
And they haven't made a slow placed souls since DaS2.
I hope to god Round 8/Neowiz don't copy the open world shit from Elden Ring for their Wizard Of Oz game. I liked Lies Of P more than anything FROM has put out post DS1 barring Sekiro.

As a former pvp turbo autist, From's pvp formula works best in 1v1s and 1v2/1v3s. If you've speni any time in the arenas doing 2v2s, 3v3s, or FFAs, you know what I mean. Gank spanking is reliant on the environment unless you're just that much better than the clowns you've invaded, in which case there could be 100 of them and it wouldn't make a difference. An 8 player FFA sounds like cancer. An 8 player FFA where you have to scour the map for 7 other niggers sounds even worse.

Why would there be? This is live service slop with microtransactions. Not something likely to appeal to Bloodborne fans.
Because they get mad at everything. When FromSoftware made VR games, they got pissed.

A different fandom, but the Nintendo fandom kept flip flopping on Bayonetta being a classic or sexist trash depending of if the most recent game was Nintendo exclusive or not.

They're usually the ones getting the From exclusives and there are still smug faggots out there gloating that BB never made it to PC despite the now quite stable emulated version. It's not so much that they care about the new game, it's just that they're not the ones who get to rub it in. The live service/microtransactions bad line will be their cope tho, as if they haven't been conditioned already.

Miyazaki truly is a hack of comical proportions.

Sony: "Make this exclusive game for our exclusive console that nobody will be able to play once the generation is over."

Miyazaki: "Ok bo$$, $ure thing, whatever you a$k for!"

Also Miyazaki: "WTF, the game I made is exclusive to an outdated console and nobody can play it now."

Nintendo: "Make this exclusive game for our exclusive console that nobody will be able to play once the generation is over."

Miyazaki: "Ok bo$$, $sure thing, you would al$o like me to $pread my butthole wide open for you? Becau$e I will if you a$k."

Miyazaki, presumably in the future: "WTF, the game I made is exclusive to an outdated console and nobody can play it now."

Microsoft in the future: Unzips Pants.

I've zero respect for developers who (especially in this day and age, back in the ps1/ps2 era it was a bit more excusable) make their games console exclusives. It means they have zero artistic integrity and more or less view their craft as disposable slop not caring that it will be rendered unplayable when the current console generation ends.

I was willing to let Nightreign slide as a side thing that reused assets in between projects.

Now I'm getting worried. Not only is this Miyazaki's next game, but it's very strange to release 2 multiplayer games on top of each other like this.

I really hope we're not witnessing From morph into yet another bastardized live service sludge developer.
