Aren’t like 3/4 of UN peacekeepers Indian and African? I remember that Ivory Coast conflict where the Ivory Coast was shamed for using mercenaries and then were given UN peacekeepers who failed to do anything. The Ivory Coast then hired the mercs back and they just started picking apart rebel forces by looking into who UN peacekeepers sold weapons and food to.

Dirty bombs are considered to be theoretical since nobody has used one in battle before, which probably contributes to general public's ignorance of them, but they are not the most dangerous long term since while the potential effects of dirty bombs are terrifying they are not particularly devastating and can be cleaned up by removing the affected soil/materiel and moving it somewhere else. It just takes a lot of effort and time and money.

A dirty bomb, if you squint hard enough, is not much different from an incendiary one. Its effects are fairly similar in a sense that both are area denial weapons and that both fire and radioactive materials cause radiation burns. But charged particles have not been a significant part of human evolution thanks to Earth's atmosphere and magnetic field, so humans don't have any sensory organs that would allow them to detect radiation and run away like one would run away from a raging fire, which makes it so insidious. It's literally an invisible killer.

Civilians have been known to remain in the area where their homes are despite constant shelling, this war being no exception, so if a dirty bomb warhead was mixed in with conventional ones and dropped over some village or small town four streets across in a gray zone it's likely that it will take a significant time for anyone to notice. In that time some kid could find a cool piece of shrapel that doesn't grow cold and carry it in his pants pocket for a few hours until his mother makes him throw it out and then dies from turbocancer literally eating his hip and pelvic bones a couple months down the line, or perhaps he lives to see the age of 74 and dies from liver cirrhosis. The time scale and exposure are really hard to predict.

That makes it a very ineffective weapon of war, but a very effective weapon of terror. Fortunately nobody has been retarded enough to try it so far and large quantities of radioactive material are generally easy to detect being moved around. You could reason that people who are down to blow up their own infrastructure to hurt Russia would be willing to be retarded enough for this, but I'd also like to think it will require a significantly larger conspiracy for it to happen, which is hopefully unlikely, especially with all of Europe being infested with Green party anti-nuclear dipshits.

I might actually have to kick the habit of browsing Twitter as it's become completely insufferable when EVERY. FUCKING. TIME. I open that website and scroll just a bit down it starts bombarding me with posts from NAFO fags climaxing from misery porn of half-rotten cadavers of Russian soldiers that get propped up for trophy pictures. It's as if Twitter's algorithm assumes that just because I'm from the Baltics that I absolutely MUST enjoy this kind of grotesque fetishistic fanaticism that the pro-Ukranian side seems to spew out non-stop.

I just want to search for funny posts from funny people dammit.
