After looking it up there are preemptive pardons but the only two that didn’t specify what the offenses related to was for Nixon and during the civil war in an attempt to maintain unity. The other specified that they were in relation to Iran contra and Vietnam draft dodgers

I'm just interested in seeing if the autopen gets nixed by SCOTUS for the purpose of signing official documents. When anyone with access to the autopen can sign an executive order or a bill into law, that is a serious problem.

People talk about it like it is some ancient piece of traditional presidential equipment, and it may have been for invitations and commendations and shit like that, but but Obama was the first to ever use it for legislation and only used it ONCE to sign a reauthorization of legislation that was expiring that night while he was out of the country, and then Biden suddenly used it on almost every fucking thing he signed. It desperately needs to be ruled as an invalid signature.

If marriage is white suprasmcy, and wanting a family is white supramcy, then I ask what makes white supramcy bad?
I'm gonna build a White picket fence, about waste high, to help wrangle my young White children that I fathered within wedlock to my same age White wife.

And it's going to be the WHITEST WHITE I CAN FIND. I want to blind my neighbors with my WHITE PICKET FENCE surrounding my admittedly subpar lawn and fallow gardening beds.

Former Trump voter here. I can’t vote for him anymore, but I would do it again. Leftists are just insane. They prop up so-called alliances while screeching about Putin, they have this insane idea that burning random Teslas is protesting, and the economy was collapsing because innocent citizens got their tax money disappeared to foreign people without due process because they’re just brown.

It's irrelevant, a pardon doesn't need to specify a crime. There is nothing in the constitution that requires it to.
Does the president need knowledge of the specific crime he pardoned? By your reading if Trump gave a blanket pardon he himself would be unable to punish that person for any newly discovered crimes including planning to assassinate him or even lying about the information that lead to the pardon.

I hope we get more people who are too stupid and lazy to find out what the order is based around and think it's just "all EOs whatever lol"
it makes it SO much easier to spot who's a dumbshit with valueless words

Yea that is what a federal offense is, but there still has to be one in the first place to pardon. You can’t drop charges that have never been levied against someone so how can you pardon them. I don’t think they’ve ever been used that way
Yes you can. The President could pardon you tomorrow for any and all offences committed against the United States even if you and him both know you've never committed a felony.

It should be illegal to pardon oneself and their own family. Based Trump.
The whole point of the pardon is to check against a rogue Judiciary coming after you and your friends/family because they disagree with you politically.

The Hunter Biden pardon is fine, because unless we're going to waste our time and relitigate 2020, it's a valid use of the pardon power, especially if ends up being the ONLY pardon Biden actually was aware he was signing.

The constitution doesn't demand it. I know it seems weird and open to incredible corruption, but the constitution is clear here.

Claiming a president’s signature doesn’t count because he autosigned it is Darrell Brooks tier legal reasoning.
I’m not a big Biden fan but this is ridiculous. It’s like claiming a court is not legitimate because the American flag has yellow trim, making it an admiralty court.

The main reason is less that it was autosigned and more that Biden may not have been the one signing it, which is illegal.
