If every three minutes or so someone else had stood up and heckled Trump, they would have continually derailed his momentum and it wouldn't have been the 90-minute-victory-lap it was. Instead, Trump got to smack down some uppity dems, crow about himself and his achievements, and make the dems look sullen and childish. Literal worst of all worlds to a dem strategist worldview.
