Wrong. If this order stands, it essentially means that President is not the head of the executive branch, but rather whatever district judge wakes up pissy in the morning.

The case is about if the President complied with the law in his executive action. Read the original complaint. The plaintiffs state that executive action violated several laws because Trump did not follow procedure and was “arbitrary and capricious” in freezing all funds. Plaintiffs received a TRO to restore funding prior to when Trump took office as that was not getting paid and the organizations showed that it was impacting their ability to operate. The past few weeks have been battles for the TRO’s validity, which the Supreme Court agreed with. Now the case will move on to decide if the Executive branch complied with established law in its foreign aid freeze executive action.
