Your honor, I would like the record to show that my client's abundant use of LULW during his testimony presents a bulletproof defense. Any additional trial proceedings are a clear waste of time for the members of the jury, and I motion for this case be dismissed on the grounds the plaintiff makes me OMNILUL.

It just seems like such an incredibly niche product, that such a small part of the population will ever need, and the people (streamers/celebrities) that he tries to market it to probably already have all those tweets and reddit comments archived by another person somewhere.
Unless you are someone who actively purges all his tweets, comments, messages, on a routine basis, Redact is then just a product in which the person is just waiting for the perfect storm, and his immediate thought should be "oh, I need to delete everything right now". It's retarded, it's like trying to time perfectly the market.
If someone is dumb enough that they are using their accounts from a decade ago, to run a business or something like that, then they are probably retarded enough that they can't even conceptualize the idea that they need to delete their previous behaviour, or to look for a software like redact.
If a person is tech savvy enough, there's already completely free alternatives to redact that have existed for a decade.
If a person is dedicated enough, they'll do it themselves, both because you want to know what you tweeted/posted before, and because deleting everything yourself doesn't seem like such a big deal.
It's a software that seems to need a person who's self aware enough, but also to be a little retarded, as past a certain point of self awareness the person would have never needed it (as it's an account free of any baggage), would have have already solved it themselves (deleting it all manually), or know there's free alternatives.
It seems like a nice side project, but Dan has been at it with Redact for like half a decade at this point right? When was it that he first started playing with the idea on stream, in 2019? when Destiny was still in LA right?
It says the twitter account was created in 2021, so maybe it was actually around 2020 when he started to play around with the idea. It just seems like a lot of time for a project that I don't even know how profitable it is and can be.
It just seems like a product that seems like a good idea if you are a Destiny fan, or Destiny himself, but outside of it I don't see much of a market for it.
Pretty sure Dan has spoken that they hired a media person, one of those niggas who are paid to run the X/Twitter account, and make and post memes, respond to viral tweets to advertise, etc.
But the account barely has 5k followers, and the engagement that it gets is very poor.
I've seen twitter accounts that get bought/sold which retain far more engagement, and that's considering that the followers are essentially getting bought into a completely unrelated market to the original meme page.
But what do I know, I'm not a software developer, and have very little interest/knowledge of what's considered a good product in tech.
On unrelated topics. I know the idea of creating a Darius thread has been floated before, and I do think currently it's probably the perfect time to make one considering him currently sweeping for Destiny.
The problem with a Darius thread is that he has gotten banned from everywhere, and large amounts of his content either was never archived or was lost during those bans.
But a Darius thread definitely has potential: He's the orbiter/lapdog of an already fairly well known lolcow (Destiny), is extremely mentally ill/unstable, engages in degeneracy and self destructive behaviour, has a very rich lolcow history (started dating and even got engaged with one of Destiny's favorites side hoes, got mentally destroyed in that relationship when she continued to cheat on him with all of his friends, including Destiny if I'm not mistaken).
Is extremely narcissistic, but also at the same time, is extremely insecure about his looks, because he doesn't want to age.
Is a sexpest, constantly tries to fuck any girl that has slept with Destiny, when drunk gets extremely emotionally/physically abusive towards his partners, constantly doxes himself and everyone who he interacts with, has commited sexual asssault on stream, and choked a girl (Abby, his ex roommate) on stream, etc.
Some of the posters on this thread have declared a connection between tiny's progressive politics and his sexual behavior, positing that tiny's egregious behavior stems from a progressive worldview or vice versa. How his politics and behavior connect and inform each other is certainly an interesting question , and I believe it requires further elaboration, which I'll try to do here. In my opinion, destiny has the political opinions he does for the same reason he presents himself as some 200 iq rational and impartial debate god. that being he is deeply insecure about his supposedly superior intelligence due to his lack of academic achievement, and this drives him to support whatever political position that he thinks makes him look the smartest. this isn't enough however, if destiny was motivated by insecurity over his intelligence alone, he very well may have become a Marxist or some flavor of fascist. the reason he isn't these things is because of his enormous ego, since both these other things present themselves as being either for the international working class or in the case of fascism, the national people. essentially, both attempt to appeal to the masses, but destiny fundamentally views himself as superior to the masses, despite having formerly been a carpet cleaner. Also he could not live his current unproductive lifestyle without capitalism. his superiority complex, alongside being raised in an epoch where atomized individualism is dominant, leads him to have a highly individualist worldview, which is a staple of contemporary liberalism. this shows in his politics, as he seems to think the US's current shift in foreign policy stems solely from the mental peculiarities of the current president. He also thinks political opinions other than his own come from a lack of rationality and intelligence, not from different priorities and lived experiences. another reason other than his individualism why destiny might be turned off from any form of Marxism is that he almost views himself as outside of history, and is reluctant to acknowledge how history, the current economic/political system, and past experience shape the structure of his thought. this stems in part from his inability to reconcile with his brutal molestation and his refusal to acknowledge the role it has played in shaping his behavior. Essentially, Destiny's unwavering defense of the liberal status quo and institutions stems from his elitism and his insecurity surrounding his intelligence. he worships academia in the present to make up for his lack of academic success in the past. He is obsessed with "progressivism" because it promises a scientific and academic approach to public policy, and while Marxism would promise the same, it differs quite considerably because of its dialectical method and historical materialism. ie for destiny to be a Marxist, he would have to acknowledge that history has shaped who he is in some way, and that he isn't some impartial 200 iq logic god and that people will believe all the right things if they have a high enough iq or the right mindset. now, how does this reflect on the current situation? well destiny's aversion to monogamy stems in part from his elitism, he views himself as an unemotional, rational, impartial 200 iq logic god superior to the average person, so he, and only rational people like him, can engage in this "superior" open form of relationship. And him being callous and unemotional is true to an extent, the liberal capitalist mindset has brain raped him to the extent that he treats other people like commodities and sex like a market transaction. he will try and purchase people with clout, stream time, fame, and even videos of him having sex with others in exchange that they offer up their use value of sexual pleasure to him for consumption. now, it goes without saying that Destiny's relentless sexual appetite stems from him being brutally molested, but the peculiar and highly transactional form it takes is the result of his worldview, which in turn comes from his superiority complex as well as his insecurity. Obviously it goes without saying that destiny is actually an emotional and mentally unstable man child, and the contradiction between who he is and who he conceives of himself as never fails to provide endless entertainment.

Usually, someone with Destiny's politics, even if he's not a Marxist, would largely refuse to accept the Great Man theory (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_man_theory).
Usually, that kind of sentiment, that one single man can mean the world of difference, is more of a right wing thought nowadays. My position, on it is very boring, and centrist, that there's common sentiments in the "times", and the people attach themselves to a certain figure who pushes for those sentiments, and it creates a symbiotic relationship.

This is a tired talking point, but it’s also a favorite narrative in the DGG community. They have this desperate need to vilify anyone who dares to oppose Destiny, painting them as the worst possible version of themselves. If I remember correctly, Destiny refused to engage with PS and his arguments, likely because PS is too articulate and academically grounded for Destiny’s usual style. They're basically saying that sculptures aren’t as important as people make them out to be, and that idolizing them ignores the ugly history of the civilizations that created them like slavery, war, and exploitation.
