Essentially, an active investigation is not going to be made public. For police to gather, review evidence, to then hand it to a prosecutor who would make a charge, could take months.

Important to note, that Florida Constitutional citation is to the Sunshine Amendment, which makes access to government information, a Civil Right to all persons within the State of Florida.
This stuff is going to be far more public than a normal 'MeToo' situation.

I've often read people in this thread say that it's ironic that DGGers lack critical thinking ability and that they just believe whatever Destiny tells them. Basically that it's a cult.

Of course that is true, but it's also by design. Anyone who criticizes him in a way that triggers him, even if it's in good faith, will be banned, silenced, or dogpiled. It's no coincidence that the most devoted followers are also the least intelligent.

What initially drew me to Destiny was his feigning of critical thinking, putting aside biases, and not just towing the party line or playing team sports if something didn't make rational sense. It felt extremely refreshing because it's abnormal to see that in the online spaces I visit.

However, I distinctly remember when I first started watching Destiny, someone told me that there would come a time when his actions would no longer line up with his purported worldview. I foolishly thought they didn't know what they were talking about, or that there must have been something they misunderstood.

But of course, they were right. Steven is just a walking charade. He could put up a pretty good act at times, but it became obvious rather quickly he didn't actually care much about a lot of things he claimed to. It's why so many interviews he does are not very interesting or insightful. He doesn't really have a unique or valuable point of view. He's good at memorizing and parroting facts; he also can be very persuasive and is good at "winning debates". But it doesn't come from a place of genuine passion or interest.

The mask slips all the time, but it was telling that during the Election stream he said that ultimately the result didn't really matter to him because he was white, male, and well-off. It all really is a grift of sorts, and I'm not sure why it took me so long to see it.

I know this is just preaching to the choir, but I wanted to add my thoughts. Fortunately, I have been wary of Destiny ever since I got banned around the time of the divorce for merely saying that it shouldn't have been a surprise Melina left him considering the way they got together—which seems like a pretty obvious and reasonable assessment. It wasn't taunting or malicious, just an observation. I can't imagine how anyone could still follow him after his response to the leaks, nor do I think I can change anyone's mind. But maybe this will be helpful to someone.
