Instead of using their budget to actually do science, or engineering for that matter, NASA would rather pay these weird "social media experts" to...I guess defend NASA bureaucracy? Space is so easy to sell nowadays because nobody remembers the part about the Apollo program sucking up 3-4% of the GDP for years and years. All we have is nostalgia for actual achievements, and a fuckton of Youtubers and bloggers who point out abandoned NASA programs and all the cool shit engineers have drawn up since there. We know all the fascinating missions NASA cancelled or scaled back because they'd rather spend their money on social media influencers. I mean NASA literally hands out grants to engineers and astronomers for innovative mission concepts, but they just get stored in an archive.

I had actually had to see a therapist when I was younger over my horrible anxiety problems, and she was kind and caring to me that i eventually stopped needing her and we went are seperate ways. That’s was a therapist is for, someone who you talk to when you need to and should let go of when no longer needed. But again so many therapy junkies don’t want to let go of that even if therapy is no longer helping them, because it isn’t about getting help it’s about putting your mental disorders in your bio like a stat sheet.
