Most, and I do mean most, of the federal workforce is made up of these types, just the day in day outers, the career nine to fivers trying to make the behemoth that is the federal government chug along another day. New boss shows up, says "we're doing audits, we want to cut waste and reign in spending, and we want to see your numbers," and these guys diligently get their files together and write their reports and submit ideas on where to trim the fat, because that's what the duly elected President of the United States wants done, and it's the right thing to do.
