This does have me thinking on how much of the "lore" that someone needs to know about Destiny and his orbiters to first understand the story and then secondly grasp most of the context. I think that the entire problem is that most fans are casual consumers or only catch the bits where he's tearing down someone they don't like so relatively few people are clued in on the enormity of what it is Destiny has done, especially because he has successfully painted all of the people he's abused as crazy and it worked.

Oreo isn't a casual fan, though. He's Destiny's biggest fan. It's very rich to hear from the commentary community that they shouldn't have to track the story and provide a comprehensive enough narrative when they spend just as much energy scrubbing Destiny's reddit for every instant where Hasan supported a terrorist organization or will spend three hour streams analyzing Bowblax's fetish photography down to his pubic hair. This has always been the biggest problem, even in the LS days. As there was never any concrete evidence of the affair all I could do was gather the overwhelming circumstantial evidence.
Luckily, as time has gone on, people at least believe me and the other regulars more often now. However, I never managed to find a solution to that amount of lore that is needed to be known in order to make people aware of the kind of person Destiny is, how he acts, etc.

However, I think that the current setup that has been created, in which things get posted, get curated and made more palatable for normie audiences: Stuff being reposted in DGGsnark, and that getting covered by Hasan or other figures, and the commentary community/KF overlap has definitely improved things.
Destiny also shot himself in the foot when he had his week long mental breakdown in the thread, a lot of dggers started reading the thread after that, and it got normalized, him defending KF against Keffals removed that Taboo even more.

This is why I've never opposed the idea of talking directly/referencing things or asking questions in my posts to people who I know read the thread, it creates that bridge. I know it's a little more taboo, as it's almost as

I'll always sweep for Pisco and Jo, but I'll also admit that they are retards.

I think the problem will always be that those people close to Destiny choose to believe that all his actions are either genuine mistakes, things he regrets, and they would rather see him as a broken thing, a victim of sorts, that can change and improve over time. You see it a lot with Kyla.
I said it a couple weeks back, that is Destiny's strongest weapon, he weaponizes the fact that other people feel empathy/sympathy, that's why he tries to play victim and sad.

Only once a person becomes awake/aware that all his actions are purposeful, and malicious, can a person move on from being manipulated/played by him imo.
It's also why whenever a person becomes aware of what he is, that is, a guy who can't care/doesn't care about anyone or anything other than himself and his phimosis penis, he immediately cuts them off/blocks them/slanders them/damages that person's reputation.

He's not trying to 'win' them back, its more that he's rewarding them with attention.

Pisco's bridge was really delayed and he's continued to suck the sandworm even after it, so I don't think Destiny takes it personally. (Compared to people like Ahrele or course)

The main obstacle is that the commentary community, the ones who are "big" have chosen Destiny's side. Either by virtue of growing up or wanting to be more palatable to a larger audience they've backed away from the edgelord presentation and play dumb if you were to suggest that they are right-wing or right-wing sympathetic. No, they're fair and cover all sides of a conflict objectively. Except this case.

No one wants to hear Kiwifarms content through Hasan and anything Hasan says against Destiny can't be believed. When some intrepid journalist links Hasan's information source to KF (easy to do) then it's a whole psycho-industrial complex up against poor Destiny and the commentary gimps come out looking like heroes for holding back the tide of "misinformation." DeOrio gets away with it because Destiny specifically lashed out at him and DeOrio gave public pushback (on a thing that Destiny published himself)

I think normies have stayed away from Destiny generally and the story is wide enough that he will be hampered in pulling in new audience members. A real issue is Destiny's determination to paint "everyone" involved in this as "equally as bad" as himself and knowingly or not the likes of Willy and Oreo are laying that groundwork. "Oh, look at all these crazy gooners and whores spazzing out on overwhelmed normie WillyMac. Without knowing anything, all these people are bad!"

To be clear, jstlk, Kelly Jean, and Beckett are snakes and weirdos in their own right but I can put that aside because actual crime has been committed.

I don't think Destiny has day-to-day input to give to his editor, August, and his fans have complained about the decline in quality/titling in recent months. Obviously, this is a critical period where Destiny will have more input given the stakes.
