He has really degraded health wise and has gotten really self-conscious about it. Except instead of doing anything like getting some exercise or going out and touching grass he refuses to acknowledge the problem. I know it's unrealistic but there is a chance Phil will look like some horrific abomination that is the cross between Ethan Ralph, Cyraxx, and Gollum in those flashback scenes combined.
A DSP evolving into that level of lolcowdom is not what I want to watch.
