Has that actually ever worked since Anita Sarkeesian?they're getting death threats
I send out loads of death threats and it seldom seems to help anything.Has that actually ever worked since Anita Sarkeesian?
Ehh. There isn't a single scene from 3 that Shaundi is in where she doesn't do something "badass" or threaten another character to show she's a girlboss. Even if Shaundi doesn't point it out herself, the writers were determined to do so.Shaundi never pointed out how she is a strong woman who need no men
I liked it a lot. Bought it on Steam at a huge discount expecting exactly what you described, but I ended up really enjoying its open world, the stealth, the motorcycling, and the "horde" feature. The writing was retarded, the second half could have been cut entirely, and all the characters had goofy potato faces, but other than that, it was better than the sum of its parts, I think.I was under the impression Days Gone only got attention from Sony fanboys. To everybody else it was a generic open world zombie game after the open world zombie game fad had dried up.
Probably not on purpose, but Tommy always came off as a walking contradiction. There's this moment that kinda accidentally proves it, Debbie Harry spots him in Kaufman Cabs and she can't even figure out if he's Caucasian or Latino. The family never had his back when push came to shove. Vietnam didn’t exactly help his “ethnic pride” either. You never played Vice City, huh?
it usually is only a problem when you insult the fans, usually most people are pissed off at the executives making the decisions, the developers usually have to go along with directives from them and when the game comes out and it sucks thats where the anger is usually directed, chiming in and insulting the fans is going to always end poorly for you, Bungie as you said is notorious for not caring what the fans think, doesnt help when you are a programmer or whatever and decide to simp for your bosses, like I can tolerate shit I disagree with more then a lot of people but a direct insult is one way to ensure ill never buy anything from you again at the very leastA dev saying they're getting death threats a is a fast and cheap way to generate sympathy and have everyone forget what they're mad at you about. Happened with Bungie when one of their interns insulted the fans.
It needed some stuff cut from the story, and you would have a great weekend game to enjoy. Its a nice world to play in as well, I liked sticking it in perma-winter for that extra Christmas feel.I liked it a lot. Devs getting death threats are fake until proven otherwise, and even if they're real they're pointless and not a big deal unless credible.
Somewhat true. Not entirely lost the concept but very crafted in the other way.The design philosophy of an open world game is lost on RDR2 and GTA V compared to its predecessors.
If game developers aren't response to death threats then the only avenue to see that grievances are addressed is to actually kill them. It's not a great situation for anybody, but, they did bring it on themselves.Devs getting death threats are fake until proven otherwise, and even if they're real they're pointless and not a big deal unless credible.
Johnny Gat was an Asian Gigachad who only ever mentioned his own race once.A good example of a diverse cast done right is the old Saints Row games (not the reboot) which is hilarious considering how much Volition screeched about diversity in their cast of the reboot, when the previous games already featured everything from asians to niggers to white people to women to every fucking minority there was. Difference of course is that the race or gender never played a fucking role in those old games. Shaundi never pointed out how she is a strong woman who need no men and Pierce doesn't tell you how he is a suppressed nigger either.
99.99999% of the time death threat = KYSThe Navy SEAL copypasta is a "death threat." So's that one about bring your friends, you'll end up in the morgue, etc. "Stop camping or I swear to God I will kill you in real life" is a "death threat."
Any time somebody says they're getting "death threats," unless they're actually calling the police and going to protective custody, I assume it's either fake or Navy SEAL copypasta.
That's unpopular? Most of the reviews I've seen criticized the shit out of the bosses for having too much health and inconsistent attack patterns.Lies of P's boss design is pretty bad.
Nah, it's just an indicator that they don't have a grasp on the mechanics. It's not like most reviewers are good enough to have informed takes and I have no idea why anyone would spare them any attention. The outlier boss(es) (King of Puppets) received massive nerfs almost immediately. There's a lot to criticize about the game but boss tankiness is hardly one of the worst offenders. That's unpopular? Most of the reviews I've seen criticized the shit out of the bosses for having too much health and inconsistent attack patterns.
It's unpopular at times because there are plenty of glazers of the game on here, reddit, and YouTube. That's unpopular? Most of the reviews I've seen criticized the shit out of the bosses for having too much health and inconsistent attack patterns.
