It's probably unlikely. Australia is part of the AUKUS security partnership, which is intended to counter Chinese expansionism in the east pacific. The deal is that Australia expands its SSN fleet by purchasing a half dozen of the new SSN-A nuclear attack subs from BAE systems and a trio of Virginia-class SSNs to bolster the existing Collins class diesel-electrics.
