If we're being honest other than splurt most of the 18+ servers do a better job than most porn websitesm they either require you to show a government ID or fill out an annoying multi paragraph form and if you do anything suspicious you have to show ID or be banned. The servers that all got dehubbed and/or authbanned last month are working on one -- I think everyone is waiting to see what that ends up being. I heard it's also going to have a web client or something which is why it's taking a bit longer. I think the probability we get the bad outcome of like 20 different steam entries for a mix of alt infra and individual servers is looking more and more likely.

this is how it generally works.
I don't keep track of BYOND SS13 staff, but in SS14 there is unbelievably large staff overlap between 'normal' servers and 'ERP' servers to the point a lot of the 'normal' servers basically server as onboarding to ERP servers. I think it might be worse than SS13 because the more tumblr-esque demographic means that there's a lot more failsons whose only income is (1) monthly tugboat or parents and (2) furry porn commissions. Of the big servers (Wizden, RMC, Frontier, Goob, etc), all of them MULTIPLE staff members with WikiFur pages, porn twitters, and even global FurAffinity admins, as well as the everpresent Discord powerusers with or without rank selling 'commissions.'
