Listened to the first few minutes of Gosney's Jeff memorial.

Steve was talking initially that he didn't feel comfortable talking about Jeff's passing because they were only Internet friends and he didn't want to get weepy on stream.

His wife chimed in from off camera answering "No" to Gosney's rhetorical question whether "Internet friends are real friends?" because everyone is in the same boat that everyone they meet online is only an acquaintance avatar.

Then Gosney mentioned that he initially courted his Filipino online through "chat dates" 25 years ago before they married.
