Incredibly few people knew what usenet was 10+ years ago. Hell even today its a very niche thing, ive never heard an average person even mention it.

I will say limewire/kazaa and other p2p platforms where pretty crazy for a while. That definitely exposed a lot of normie type people to the dark seedy underbelly of the internet.

I agreed with the initial post at the top of the thread, games should be made because it's your creative vision and some faggot shouldn't be allowed to make decisions for you all because "muh feelinz n' sheet". Yet I feel like that's the problem with these niggers. This moron is talking out of her neck. How can you make this statement but also deny the reality that someone engaging in certain behaviors like pedophilia in a simulated environment is steadily training their brain to sexually respond to children — and, therefore, should be people you keep away from children? It is rare that there are games people play where actual murder and other violent crimes are actually an objective in a video game (and even in mainstream games, the player is usually punished for murder). What this disingenuous cunt is talking about is games where you are killing others in warfare or in self-defense/defense of others. You can kill in a just manner, but you can’t rape or fuck children in a just manner.
