If I had to guess, MS didn't want the game to be "Uncharted: Microsoft Buyout Edition," though as @The Last Stand said in the unpopular opinions thread, it's not like Machine Games could make anything else. I agree with you though.Always seened really dumb to make it a first person.
Using the whip in combat or fistfighting seems really awkward in first person.
Did the devs not notice that every adventure game is in third person to make interacting with the environment and platforming feel better?
Well we're not getting a Uncharted for quite a while, if ever, and it's not like Uncharted didn't just steal from Tomb Raider and Indiana jones beforehand. If I had to guess, MS didn't want the game to be "Uncharted: Microsoft Buyout Edition," though as @The Last Stand said in the unpopular opinions thread, it's not like Machine Games could make anything else. The irony is thick enough to cut with a knife.
I don't understand how people here are falling for it again.A bit of a PSA for the upcoming Indiana Jones game. I heard someone try to defend the game as they wanted an Indiana Jones FPS for a long time. There's a game called Deadfall Adventures on Steam. It's a mediocre FPS where you play as Quatermain. You shoot nazis, raid tombs, dodge traps, and fight supernatural enemies. It might be forgetably average, but it's the Indiana Jones FPS people claim to want.
Dem keeds don't know that though and it's not like either of the nu Indy films made inroads.Besides, Indiana jones did the Uncharted thing like 4 years before them
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is the best Indy game.LEGO Indiana Jones the Original Adventures will still be the best Indiana Jones game though, that's for sure.
Most people wouldn't bother with a movie franchise licensed game.I just realized I never played an Indiana Jones game.
to be fair machine games have made some AWESOME games before, and by some I mean wolfenstein the old blood. holy fucking shit that game is awesome, nearly as good if not as good as RTCWThe game getting instant positive raving reviews has made me really suspect about the actual quality of the game, especially since it's from Bethesda/Machine Games, a studio that always has cocksuckers in line to lap up whatever they shit out. Gonna have to wait a bit for other reviews to come out.
Lmao what the shit did they not have the stones to put Nazis in the game? They're just generic "fascists."MauLer is streaming it right now if anyone wants to see gameplay.
He's in 1930s Fascist Italy, not Germany. They're not generic fascists, they're the origin of the term.Lmao what the shit did they not have the stones to put Nazis in the game? They're just generic "fascists."
