Lake winning would lead to her immediately investigating the local rigging machine, which was used as a prototype for the national 2020 rigging as early as 2018. Plus, if they fix AZ's broken machine then AZ is no longer a Swing State, it's a Red State (see Florida) -- and the left can't win national elections if they lose one or two Swing States to the reliably Red category, not without a fundamental realignment of leftism.
She cannot be allowed to win, no actual Republican can. Rigging it against Lake is a hell of a lot easier than rigging against Trump and the 500 lawyers Trump had watching probably weren't watching as close for Lake.

Cheating thankfully isn't infinite. We'll have to wait until all the 'votes' are 'counted' to see the final Trump - Lake margin, but the reason it's a wide ~7 point gap is because Ruben Gallego spent many millions of $ at the start of the year reinventing himself as a moderate independent who will take a stand against the Democrats for the sake of Arizona if he needs to. There were also Hispanics who figured he'd represent their ethnic interests more, but nevertheless preferred Trump over Kamala. Kari basically had no $ for all intents and purposes.
If Dave McCormick was somehow broke, he'd have lost decisively to Bob Casey. Dave is going to be the one guy in a close Trump state that managed to beat the Dem because unlike all the others - e.g. Sam Brown, Mike Rogers, etc - Dave McCormick wasn't massively outspent by his opponent.
There's this image floating around that I didn't save, but it basically shows something like

other states and the Republican candidates in them (including Arizona, Nevada): $0
Mitch McConnell wants establishment toadies. Ideally, they can also self-fund. Dave McCormick played the strategy of being a fake America First candidate (he's a legit neocon who will get along well with the likes of Mitch, John Thune, etc), and boosted that Fake America First message which resonates well with Pennsylvania, with his $100,000,000 war chest.
I'm telling ya - we'd have easily won the Senate races in Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan if all those candidates had Dave's level of ca$h. It wouldn't have been close. We would have won ALL those Senate races quite easily. It's also quite possible Trump did a bit better in Pennsylvania compared to, say, Wisconsin because of Dave McCormick's cash fueling bad publicity against the Democrats and Get-Out-The-Vote ops.
Trump's "election denialism" (notice the rhetorical trick to have it similarly worded to "holocaust denialism") is arguably more controversial than Kari Lake's because of 'muh Capitol Assault' but Trump had wayyyy more $ than Kari, and was financially supported by the GOP establishment wayyy more than Kari (an underrated factor in 2024, unlike 2020, was that the GOP establishment was less willing to just throw the race to the Democrats because even they are sick and tired of chomo joe admin's style of running the country). And as I said before, he has a solid record to run on whereas Kari was a newscaster who never had a business record in the private sector, nor any prior political success aside from technically winning the legal votes in the 2022 AZ Gubernatorial race. Oh and one last thing - Kamala is tied to the horrifically unpopular Biden admin (she did her best to assert "I'm obviously not Joe Biden and I'm not Donald Trump either"), whereas Ruben Gallego to many Arizonans was just some guy in the House who was scamming them into believing he was a moderate independent maverick (far from it; he's a shitlib through and through who would lock up Kyle Rittenhouse for life, for instance).
I personally will not ever vote or donate to the Republican Party again for Mitch McConnell's outright treasonous conduct when it comes to leaving candidates woefully underfunded. Hell, Sam Brown (R) in the 2024 Nevada Senate race is a legit neocon, but Mitch likes being in the minority so much that even someone like Sam Brown didn't receive the money he needed to face off against Jacky Rosen (D) who was playing the same fake moderate "I'm for all Nevadans, I will break away from my party when I need to" strategy.

Boy do I have a tale for everyone here:
I will forever hold that the best thing Trump did was kick Ivanka and her husband to the curb. Though he had help, Don Jr. did a -lot- to ruthlessly stab both in the back and ruin their lives and relations with their father. We are talking some real Game of Thrones style shit. The irony, both Trump and Ivanka had written off Jr. as nothing more than a dim-witted peon, Trump had even in the past expressed private concerns that his son was a bit of a dim bulb. Still, despite those concerns he has consistently tried to be there and support Jr. Which appears to have engendered a near-fanatical loyalty in Jr for the father that never turned his back on him despite the cutthroat world they live in.
So, after 2020, when it became clear that Trump had been backstabbed by everyone... and especially Ivanka, Jr. proved that he might not be the smartest, or the quickest, or the most talented. But what he is, is absolutely methodical. He spent two years making deals, cajoling allies, and coercing threats to cut off every single lead in that Ivanka had to Trump before then making a play to convince Trump to use his advice over his daughters. At this point, Ivanka and her husband -were- Trump's main advisors still. There was a very really threat of them staying so for 2024. And Jr. played his cards perfectly. He brought to Trump his own vision, the campaign you saw, and detailed piece by piece and line by line how every element helps and pushes forward Trump's goals. Ivanka was furious and tried to have him thrown out but... Trump is Trump. He told her to counter it, make her own plan... and when she tried it fell apart. Jr. had a response to everything, every line, and every proposal.
He had spent two years wargaming everything she would do. And had a response for all of it.
He wasn't smart or quick on his feet, he just spent the time to ensure he had covered everything he could think of.
You can thank Ivanka and her husband for why this information is known. While some has been dug up by people allied to Jr. for the push against Ivanka, she herself has ranted a fair bit at social events and has been overheard. Piecing together this story was quite fun.

Recognizing the brilliance of a JD Vance pick for VP, enough to push it as hard as he could (expending all favor points he had with his his dad, as he tells it himself), required some serious wit. Anyone saying that he wasn't smart has been proven very wrong.

Ivanka and Kushner were -the- people responsible for who Trump hired and made part of his team. It was them who recommended Pence. They were the ones responsible for advising Trump on how to act and what to do. Trump always had the final say but leaned heavily on them to make up for his lack of political experience. And the two were outright members of the Uniparty.
To put this in D&D terms, god I am old I played AD&D.... Jr. is very high Wisdom but actually just below average Intelligence. He's not smart, what he is is able to understand people, where they fit, and work around that information.

It's another reason why another mass psychosis event like TDS won't happen again. SJWs are a special blend of weakness that makes their thought process totally alien to normal people. We call college indoctrination centers, but really, even that propaganda doesn't always take. Your average STEM graduate thinks in an entirely different way to the Feminist Dance Theory grad. It just seems like the majority of grads because White Collar jobs have more HR mandates put on them to comply.
This is what I mean by alien thinking. It's not like he could have cancelled his subscription and shown the letter like a normal person. No, he's got to damage his own property like a chimp.
