Just remember that these polls are literally the only indication we have that Kamala Harris is winning. Every other indicator favours Trump. Early vote is lacklustre for the Democrats. Economic indicators favour Trump. Trump leads on 4 of the top 5 main issues that voters are concerned about. Trump is more popular than he's ever been and Kamala Harris is the most unpopular Vice President in living memory.

California has shitty gun laws, but it has more gun owners than most states have people.
California is hilariously blue, but it has more Republicans than most of the deepest red states have people.

On a more geographic sense, California is physically giant, but with most of the population concentrated in the liberal coastal cities. I remember a discussion here (this thread, maybe), where a featured xeet was some leftist smugly saying that CA should be broken into three states, with the implied conclusion that it would give three new blue states. lolno, you'd get one mega blue state then two red states.
